This is my second time here and the food is always flavorful. Sometimes I wish my chicken was cooked a little longer and browner chicken. Sometimes its boarderline fully cooked. I always enjoy the sides.My plantains were sweet and not dry and my green beans were good as well

Super generous portions, we could have shared an entree and both been full and we usually eat a lot! Very delicious potatoes and has lots of options for vegetables that are grilled or steamed in case you need a break from grease but still gotta eat out. Loved the half Chicken it was to die for and the chicos bowl was good, delicious sauce. Appreciated the bathrooms are accessible without waiting for a key 🙂 and they were reasonably clean. Friendly and speedy service. I feel full and nourished with no heavy grease but didn’t sacrifice any flavor. Highly recommend!

Food could be warmer, but then again, it doesn’t seem like a high volume place, so it appears the food sits for a while.
Seasoning on the chicken is good but lacks warmth to highlight some of the flavors. Coleslaw was ok not tangy, but lacking some sweetness. Fries were terrible, similar to that of mcdonald fries once left out for days.. but then again mcdo fries are just cardboard tasting.. yuck!

Tried this place out because the reviews seemed fairly positive and the prices seemed worth a try. I drove to the restaurant myself to avoid paying fees by ordering online. The menu is posted on the screen above the counter and paper menus are strewn across the counter.
As I was paying, I noticed the prices the cashier rung up were different from the menu in my hand. I asked why the family special was $3 more than what was posted on the electronic menu in the store and she said, “It’s in the menu,” pointing to the fine print at the bottom of the menu written, “Price subject to change.”
When I looked at the receipt, 3 out of 5 of my items had markups ranging from just under 10% to over 20%! I get that the economy is tough but announce SOMEWHERE that your posted prices have changed. The entire thing left me feeling scammed. I won’t return.

Don’t order the chicharrón de pollo, they only give you 4 pieces with 2 sides for $15.

Update: Management reached out and offered me a free meal for my bad experience. I completely forgot to update my review! 2nd time around was much better. I greatly appreciate the customer service.
Extremely disappointed! The worse Carne Asada I ever had. The must have forgot my food was cooking, because it was beyond well done. Flavorless overcooked beef, that’s what I got. Not worth $19.
