Ordered 2 large chicken dinners, large pork fried rice, pot stickers and egg rolls. All food was flavorless or extremely salty. To much breading hardly any chicken to be found. Paid over 60.00. That would be fine if portions weren’t so small and food was enjoyable. I haven’t been there for over a year. Used to be delicious. Won’t be going back. Do not recommend.

I love the Yeung Chau Fried Rice from Kong Ming Express! It reminds me of my mothers homemade one, with lots of different kinds of meats and a lighter fried rice color. It’s not too oily and less heavy than most places’ fried rice (which I still love but sometimes you have to switch it up)! I usually just ordered take out because it’s pretty hot inside there but food is good so I give it 5 stars <3

New Kong Ming is a strictly average Chinese takeout spot. The food is unremarkable, serving up typical dishes with nothing special to make them stand out.
The atmosphere is that of a simple takeout restaurant—it’s very basic. What really stood out, however, was their policy on any condiments they charged $0.75 for a single side of chili oil, which feels excessively cheap (“dime and pennies”).
If you’re looking for a quick, standard Chinese meal, this place will do, but don’t expect anything memorable, and be prepared to pay extra for condiments.

Had the General Tso’s Chicken combination lunch with spring roll. The broccoli was fresh, the chicken tasted great, the rice was actually the best fried rice I’ve had so far in Illinois. Could be a bit more food but the price was probably reasonable for the amount of food. The only thing I don’t like was the spring roll. It was fresh, hot and crispy, but the contents was all soft. I would try food here again though

I’m new to. The area and had a craving for chinese food l. So I ordered takeout and was served dog food literally. I ordered a large chicken fried . My large was most certainly small and the chicken was of a boiled consistency and lacked any flavor. I would never order from then again. The best part of this meal were the egg rolls and I’m almost certain they came from costco.

Worst egg roll I have ever had. It definitely was not homemade.

I have not visited this establishment for quite some time, but thought I’d go pick up some of my favorite egg foo yong. Sadly, I think they made a mistake and made the egg foo yong with onions instead of bean sprouts because it contained more onions than egg or bean sprouts which really disappointed me
I’d love to be able to post a picture of how many onions I took out of my egg foo yong, but there doesn’t seem to be an option nearly covered my whole plate of big chunks of onion not my favorite

Ordered several dishes and found the portions in the dishes to be quite small for the amount of money they charge. While the quality of the food was good, however My Mongolian beef had literally six pieces of beef the rest was onions this was outrageous for a $15 dish. We found a similar issue with the shrimp with lobster sauce the portions of shrimp are quite small. I understand that there is inflation and higher cost have are reflected on to the consumer but if you don’t raise the the prices and simply reduced the portions that does not equate to a good experience for the patrons, especially if you want them to come back and buy from you again. I will not order from here again.

This was the “honey shrimp,” which should have been called “sugar shrimp.” Basically a cheap donut with cooked shrimp stuffed inside. Absolutely disgusting.
