They called my work phone asking about an order I have never made. I live in Illinois and have never even heard of this place before until my team informed me about this just now. The person who answered the phone when they called my number the first time was rude to my team and said “you sound like the person who ordered” to my teammate. When I called to ask questions about who ordered using my work number, the person on the phone said they didn’t take a name but confirmed that it was my work number that they used. They were rude to me as well. I explained that I live in Illinois and didn’t order anything and they hung up. Now I understand that they had to make the food but I can guarantee that my team has never heard of that place before today and weren’t exactly thrilled being talked to in that manner.

I planned to take a friend here to celebrate his birthday yesterday. After reading the complaints regarding the hit and miss hours, I called them at 12:16 to make sure they would be open that evening. I was told that they would be opening at 3:00 p.m.. however when we arrived at 5:00, both doors were locked and everything was dark inside. I called again and no one answered. Shameful way to do business.

Friday night wanted some good “soul food” thought I’d try a local spot. Sadly to say, very disappointed. Out of the can yams (yuck) dried & salty catfish, horrible timing, was told 20 minutes didn’t get food for about 40 ish and our pie was missing. I tried and won’t bother again or recommend. Smothered pork chop, no gravy, very chewy. Onion wasn’t sliced it was cut and dumped on top. Not a very good experience. Whoever gives this place a 5 stars I question your taste buds.
