Very classy place! I liked the different styles of decor that really give the whole feel of the place an identity from it’s many eclectic pieces of art that adorn every corner, shelf, wall and front window! Great variety of local bands, soloists, and artists. Sound in the stage area is perfect. Bartenders are quick and make strong drinks. The art gallery/lounge is well decorated, a great place to get away from the crowd and chill out.

Nice artsy place to listen to local talent try out their skills. The DJ is definitely a plus for dead time playing a great mix of music genre. Small and cozy atmosphere and great mellow crowd.

Came here for drinks while in town, cool place with a good band and great to see a variety of ages present. A hipster bar but with options for the dads and moms of Alton.
Unfortunately there was a cash only cover charge – thankfully there are 2 ATMs – which for people just looking to drink was a bit off putting. The real downer was the bartender. I ordered a bartending 101 drink – a marg. He proceeded to groan and roll his eyes and complain they were slammed. Which everyone could see – so boohoo to those who can’t understand being busy, don’t take it out on other people. He then proceeded to make my drink with Sprite/7up – which is absolutely not in a Margherita. It tasted like watered down lime – couldn’t even taste the alcohol and I knew there was alot.
I know things get busy on a Sat night, but the treatment of the bartender really pushed me over. I bartended for several years. I know getting in the weeds is stressful. But you don’t take that out on a customer and make them feel guilty for ordering a standard bar drink, and then make it incorrectly.
