Mind officially blown…Tucked into an intimate and inviting space in the Narragansett Pier Marketplace Tsunama is a tsunami of amazement.
From the moment I walked in, the staff was super welcoming. Molly commandered the bar as if we were in her very own home.
So welcoming and engaging.
And the sushi…
I simply wasn’t prepared for just how outstanding it was. From the torched torro to the From the Soul roll (chefs choice…do it!), and all the sashimi in between, Tsunama is a true hidden gem. Go find it, you will not be disappointed.

If you’re looking for an unforgettable sushi experience in Narragansett, look no further than Tsunama. From the moment you walk in, the service is impeccable—attentive, friendly, and always ready with a great recommendation. The sushi itself is a revelation; every piece is a testament to freshness and flavor. The fish practically melts in your mouth, and the quality is consistently top-notch. While everything on the menu is fantastic, a few standouts for me are the beef negimaki, the incredibly fresh salmon, and the buttery yellowtail. Tsunama is a true gem and a must-visit for any sushi lover.

Tsunama is a hidden gem in Narragansett! My wife and I had an incredible experience at this family-owned sushi spot in the Pier Marketplace. We were warmly welcomed by Fiona, who was friendly and knowledgeable. We started with the Tsunama Crisp—chopped toro tuna, and chopped salmon served on a delicate rice crisp—was packed with flavor. We also enjoyed the torched toro with its sweet and slightly spicy sauce was another standout, along shrimp tempura and a variety of nigiri—escobar, mackerel, scallop, and hamachi nigiri. Everything was incredibly fresh and well-prepared.

It’s clear that the passion behind this family-run business comes through in both the food and the service. This will absolutely be one of our go-to sushi spots. If you’re in the Narragansett area, do yourself a favor and stop in!

Tsunama is the place to go for great sushi and more. We’ve tried almost every nigiri, and could not love it more. The Hibachi/Teriyaki dinners are fit for a king…or queen. The atmosphere is relaxing and pleasing. The service is outstanding. They also have a full bar. If you have not been to Tsunama, you must visit, even if sushi is not your preference. If you have been, you will most likely return.

We can’t wait to go back. This was the most fresh sushi I’ve had on the East coast. We tried a couple different things on the menu – the tsunama crisps (pictured), the Diablo roll and the pho king.

The pho is very expensive for what it is, but my daughter really wanted pho so we ordered it. It was very good, but if you are Vietnamese and eat pho once a week, you will feel robbed.

Food was OK. The garlic noodles lacked garlic. So why did I give it 5 all around well it was for the fact it took a good 15 to 20 minutes between ordering each thing to come out. Which is a bonus. I like to take my time and digest between and catch up with whom ever I’m having dinner with. Our waitress was amazing also.

First time here and wanted to try a bit of everything. The dumplings and crab Rangoons are literally the best in Rhode Island coming from people who have sampled most of what RI has to offer. If you’re ordering sushi the firecracker roll is a must. Pad Thai and drunken noodles were incredible. Service was friendly and fun. Seasonal caramel appletini was on point. We’ll be back for sure.

This is the best Asian restaurant that I ever visited in my entire life so far and that’s 36years. The appetisers started with the most phenomenal and delicious meals of my lifetime— gyoza( the filling is so tasty, slightly fried and perfectly crisp); crab Rangoon— crispy, light with the best filling that is not super sweet and overpowering yet I could taste crab and cream cheese individually; nama ( tuna and salmon) crisps— super light and delicious with fresh ingredients—— genius presentation and dish. Garlic noodles with shrimp- sooo delicious. For sushi— we had fireworks and samurai sushi —- and can I tell you how amazing and fresh it was. Jaw dropping experience, fast service, amazing servers and beautiful ambience. 1000000/100 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
Unforgettable experience. Keep up on this success cloud.
