Don’t sleep on this place. I was hesitant because of how much of a “bar” it is- but the food is insane. They can get very busy but the staff was kind. We went two days in a row. If you’re staying at the base, so easy. The southwest salad plus steak was phenomenal. Loved the steak tacos too.

Im extremely baffled at how there are so many good reviews for this place. We tried it on a Friday night at 630 pm and there was a minimal crowd. (Maybe 6 other people). The service was from the one of two bartenders and she was rude and lacked not only customer service, but had zero personality. The order (which you walk up to the bar to give) was received wrong; any extras we asked for like cheese, jalapeños etc. were left out.
The food was nothing special: burgers, pulled pork sandwich. The chips and salsa were tasteless, the jalepeno poppers had almost no bacon on them and the filling had zero flavor. The shoe string fries… cold, limp, and needed salt to have any flavor.

So glad we found this restaurant/bar. Staff super friendly, food was tasty. Local flavor and live music, just a fun experience and highly recommend.

Great place to stay and have a spectacular time! Delicious food and beers. Dale is the best spot in town. Outdoor views to the mountains and lots of games to have fun with friends and family. We definitely are coming back. Ricky is the best

I recently attended a celebration at DALEEE at KTAOS and had a blast. The venue was spacious, the service was excellent, and the view of the mountain while playing sand volleyball was unbeatable. The food was good, too. We happily munched on fries, chicken tenders, pita wraps, and sandwiches all night long. There was a salsa band playing that night, and the good vibes were flying high with the music and dancing. Perfect spot for parties, hanging out in general, dancing, and getting sandy! Thank you to the hard-working, friendly staff and owner at DALEEE for making our night so memorable and fun.

Daleee is a wonderful place to enjoy music and spend time outside. The drinks are delicious, food is great and the atmosphere is energizing. It’s perfect to see live music or hang out with your friends and family enjoying the view from the beautiful outdoor gathering space.

Unable to comment on food, drinks, atmosphere and patio as we were kicked out before we made it to the bar. They have a real cool thing for dog owners on “Yappy Tuesday” you can bring your dogs to the patio and hopefully have a great time. We were walking the hallways to the bar when we came around a corner and there was a large person standing there wearing all black and it scared my 40 pound Bernedoodle and he barked at him. He stopped barking once he realized we were ok. Turns out he was security and told us to leave. We asked if we could go out on the patio and if he barked again we would leave. Nope, we needed to leave immediately. They may need a different security just on “Yappy Tuesday”. We don’t like barking dogs and we would never stay there if ours was barking. It’s probably a great place to go.
Update 9-22-2025: We had a nice response from the owner concerning our review. I’m sure next time we are in Taos on a Tuesday Yappy Hour we would give Dalee Ktaos another try. Concerning the security that day I’m sure he is a good guy that was just doing his job, I would like for him to meet Ryder some day under better circumstances.
