Love this place, I would say this is a locals place and it is, but people come from miles away to eat here. The fried chicken is amazing, so good that I dove right in and ate it before I got a chance to take a picture. The steaks are hand cut by the owner and his wife of 50+ years still cooks on the weekends. Can’t wait to come back and try something else.

First time eating here and I’d definitely come back. You WILL have to wait a while for your food (we waited almost an hour for the entree), but it’s WORTH IT! This is because they make it homemade and fresh when you order, not before. I got a homemade salad and fried chicken. My wife got salmon (of which I stole a few bites). It was all very good!

We visit this establishment a couple of times a year–I wish we could visit more often honestly! The salads are absolutely perfect–all the toppings are plentiful and fresh. The steak is perfection also–fresh, juicy, and so so so tasty. The fried chicken is the BEST you will ever have–fried by order in a cast iron skillet. You won’t be disappointed if you stop here!

My experience, the food seems like it would be really good, but plan on waiting about an hour an a half, then if they have started cooking It would probably be good. No!! I will not wait 90 minutes for my food. I could have gone fishing and grown the chicken faster then it took for me to say, just give me the bill for the beer. Sorry Butchie, only one star.
