Restaurant /Sports Bar I was on the bar side. I am so pleased to see a quality place using this venue. Great view. Heather the bartender was amazing and quickly took care of me. She gave great recommendations on food. I ordered the sliders and they were delicious. The atmosphere is great with plenty of screens to catch sporting events. Great gathering place to catch up with friends in family. My only recommend is to get some sort of lighted signage because it is hard to see. I think this place has the potential to become one of the best spots in The Dalles for food and spirits.

So good! Had the chicken salad sandwich. Service was a little slow, but warm and welcoming and we weren’t in any hurry! The food and beer were so delicious. Will definitely be back next time I visit The Dalles.

Loved the outdoor seating along the Columbia River. This place lives up to their tag line “Best Burger in the Columbia Gorge”. Service is friendly and attentive. Our new favorite local spot in The Dalles!

. Tricky to find vague signage . But all that said, really great fun food. Family place early in the evening. Amazing roasted beet salad. Yummy Lemon Drop Martini. Pastrami sandwich was great. Nice friendly service. Fair prices too . Great for parties.

Love the location. Beautiful view. Great staff. Elizabeth our server was spot on and very friendly. Food was amazing and large portions. It was cold out today. (I would have loved to see a fire burning. So romantic and cozy on a winters day.) The one and only negative…… it is very loud in the dinning room. — Years ago I was taught that “bus help” when clearing a table should NOT be heard. Stacking and hitting dishes should not disturb your guests . Thank you for a wonderful meal. We will be back

Looking back at the reviews it seems this place is hit or miss on service. We had a ‘hit’. The food was done really nicely and the meatloaf was tied with the best I’ve had. The beer list was interesting enough to get a flight and try a bunch of new ones. The waitress did a fine job.

One last thing – it was so nice to go to a restaurant that doesn’t need to play music. We were out on the patio and tables were spaced apart enough that each table was in its own little world, we weren’t all talking over each other. It helped with a relaxing mood after being out in the heat and smoke all day.

Great location. Portions were generous. Fries were soggy and the room was too loud. Need to tweak the sound and service, especially on a Saturday night but overall, if they improve with the feedback concerns, would recommend it in a heartbeat. Also, someone should man their feedback and respond to each one personally online. It would improve your ratings 10 fold.

First time here was a good experience! The physical space still has some issues (too open), but the overall experience was nice. The people really tried hard to provide good service…and it was. Our meals started with some excellent presentations. I just got the BLT and some sweet potato fries ($9) and came on a big plate quartered with fries in the middle – impressive! The wife got the Greek salad ($10) which came on an even bigger plate with two heads of romaine. She was a little freaked at first, but them just got into cutting it up and dressing it and in the end she said ‘it was really fresh!’. We don’t normally get desserts, but thought we would check them out. I got the lava cake that came with a little bowl of ice cream and it was outstanding! The wife got a salted caramel cake and it was good as well (she’s not too into sweets). Total damage $33. I’m recommending this place at this point and hope they can keep it up. I’d like to see a lunch menu (maybe they have one) as it needs to be a little simpler and lighter on pricing. One more thing…it was a little cool in the dining room…fine with my pullover on, but the wife was a little cold. Keep it up!

Stopped by after a Sunday afternoon of rafting in Maupin. The food was good and the setting on the patio is lovely, but the service was ultra slow. The waitresses we’re nice but nothing happened at a reasonable pace. We had to stand 5 minutes before being seated even though the place was essentially empty. Then we sat for about 10 minutes without any menus or water. Fortunately the food came quickly, but they brought my partners pasta without any silverware and it took another 5 minutes of it sitting on the patio getting cold. Eventually I went in and found some myself. After we finished our food and they brought the check it was 15 minutes before we could even waive down a waitress to take our card to close out. The whole experience was pretty frustrating for what we were hoping to be a relaxing evening by the water.

First, the positive–it is a lovely location on the water. We opted to sit outside and very much enjoyed the ambience of the surroundings. The cuts of salmon and steak seemed of good quality and if it was prepared correctly, would have been wonderful. The negative far outweighed the positive, unfortunately. We arrived just after 8:30 pm. They weren’t busy. One table inside, three outside on the deck and it still took over 50 minutes for our food to arrive (and we ordered immediately). The main reason for 2 stars is due to overcooked salmon, undercooked steak (the waitress didn’t ask about how my husband wanted his steak and it came rare on half of it and medium on the other), and the food was bland. It wasn’t even salted. The dressing that was supposed to come on the salmon was almost M.I.A. although we asked for extra sauce. The rice was supposed to be flavored with mint, but was plain. And the Brussels sprouts and peppers were replaced with cooked carrots with absolutely no seasoning. Salt would have been nice. After waiting for so long for our food, we are it all. With these meals running $25 per plate, I was really hoping for better.
