I was very excited to see a sushi/japanese eating place open in foyleside, as sushi is one of my favourite foods. I ordered salmon and avacodo maki. It was very well presented, but the actual flavour of the sushi wasn’t impressive. What is meant to be a very rich taste of fish was very bland and flavourless. Perhaps I was unlucky and the salmon just lacked flavour on that particular day. I was dissapointed but I wanted to give them a second chance, so I ordered some mushroom dumplings. Again the presentation was lovely, but the food was less impressive. I got 4 mushroom dumplings. The filling was fine but it was coated in too much oil whuch overpowered the entire dish, which otherwise may have been lovely. This is especially dissapointing given it cost 8 pounds which is at the higher end of takeaway street food of this portion size. I may try agian as I really do want this business to suceed and serve delicious japanese/asian food. I hope I can write a more positive review the next time I visit.
