I hate giving bad reviews, I really do. Unfortunately this place is not currently worth recommending. While the location is great, and it’s very clean inside. The food is extremely bland. Everything. Chicken tastes like oil and chicken. Vegetables have zero seasoning – just taste like steamed veggies. Rice looks like it’d have flavor and it’s just oil and rice. Additionally, they use too much oil where the chicken is in a pool of oil.
I really would love for them to improve and even just add some salt and pepper.

I saw that the restaurant name had changed so figure I’ll try to try leaving a review here. I ordered food last night. Chicken and steak. The people were very polite when I picked up my order. However I should have checked before I left and I didn’t. My order was supposed to eat chicken and steak steak well done with white rice I have food allergies. Instead the order I picked up was chicken shrimp and steak, it did have white rice. However it had vegetables that I did not ask for and that I am allergic to. I am hoping that we can fix this and I would love to be able to leave you a better review. Thank you

Very disappointed that you have no vegan options. I was told all of your vegetable options were only made with butter and could not accommodate my request to make it with oil instead.

So glad we finally got to try this place! We love Japanese food and it’s something that is lacking here in our awesome little town.
First of all, the food was absolutely delicious! The seafood (we got scallops in the teriyaki and shrimp in the hibachi meal) and vegetables were PERFECTLY cooked, also, large portions on everything and the prices are the best that ive found in the whole triangle! So, their white sauce is superb!
Secondly, it was SUPER easy to order online. Making a login was simple and the whole process was streamlined.
Do not sleep on the fried oyster appetizer!!! Perfectly fried and crispy and absolutely delicious!
We will be back FOR CERTAIN!

The food has no taste. The white sauce which is supposed to be yum yum sauce is absolutely NOT Yum Yum sauce. It has a bitter taste. So disappointed! The rice has no taste and even the chicken had a bitter taste. On the positive my son said the chicken nuggets were good.

As someone who has worked at a Hibachi restaurant, this is a great place. It is nice and clean inside, the workers are friendly, and the food tastes great. I ordered the chicken and shrimp hibachi with extra white sauce. The menus inside, you read the ones on the right and work your way to the left. It makes sense, considering the fact that in Japan, people read from right to left, top to bottom. I would definitely buy again.

I got the steak hibachi. The place is sketchy from the time you walk in. It looks more like a Chinese restaurant. The steak was tough and bland. I forced myself to eat it in which I didn’t want to waste $20 but I paid the ultimate price. I began having stomach pains and had to use the bathroom. I began severely vomiting and this continued through out the night. DO NOT EAT HERE. If I could give no stars I would.

I have to give this place major kudos for its great food, its fast service and its overall customer service, especially when it has to deal with people coming in with large and ridiculous orders. I witnessed there today a woman before me who had the most tedious food order that I’ve ever witnessed. She was ordering for her entire family (around 5 or so people) and every one of them had some nuance about what veggie they didn’t want in their order or how specifically they wanted the meat cooked. The cashier did her best to get it as right as best she could and even the woman placing the order admitted that she was a pain in the butt. Hey, if you are that picky about what you DON’T want in your hibachi order, how about you make it easy on everyone else, place the order and then pick out what you don’t want yourself!

The owner added sushi as being one of the offerings for this restaurant when you do a Google search for “sushi near me” and that is a lie, there is no sushi here, it’s a bait and switch.
