I’m a student at UofL and I think many can attest to this, it should not take an hour to be able to pick up your food. The food is great no complaints from me there but on multiple occasions I’ve been late to class because of how long it takes. It’s not the staffs fault even, it’s a cramped space that gets flooded with people and at most I’ve seen maybe 6 barristas at a time. Naturally they get overwhelmed and stressed which leads to constant yelling out orders and not great customer service. I just hope they get more staff to help them soon.

I love this Einstein’s, and everyone I know loves it too. The workers are awesome and my food is always ready early or on time. The food here is great and all the options are awesome. I’ve been at UofL two years now, and everyone that works here has been consistently amazing.

Despite how hot it was in the restaurant area, it was nice! I got a bagel and small coffee, and everything tasted great. It’s nice if you need to grab something between classes.

I love this place! The orders go out quick! I have had a couple weird moments where I’ve ordered a cold brew and everything looked good until I took a sip and my caramel “cold brew” was hot… but it’s all good, we all make mistakes sometimes. ♥

I don’t think I’ve ever bean more annoyed and I’ve never left a review anywhere before. There was 3 people in line including me, I ordered a chai tea large. That’s all. I waited for 20 minutes as people ordered and got their food, waiting for my ONE drink at the counter. Finally after 20 minutes THE SAME PERSON that took my order asked me what I was waiting for . After waiting another 5 minutes I got my drink. This is literally on campus, students don’t have time for this. Never been so annoyed.

They’re pretty slow around rush times, so don’t go if you have to get to class anytime soon – can take 1/2 hour or more to get your food if you go around lunchtime. I love the menu options, and the lattes are great, but the slowness and the fact that when they’re hurrying, they cut corners, makes this a less-than-ideal experience. Go when they’re not busy, though, and I recommend them highly.

This place has a steady level of business and depending on the time of day, you may have to stand in line for awhile, but the food is good. They do experience difficulties every now and then (for a week the toaster didn’t work, for instance) and the staff can be stressed at times, but it’s a good gig. Coffee is alright, the honey butter is solid. Overall, I have pleasant experiences here and recommend it.

My girlfriend had come here once in the morning and ordered a coffee and a bagel. She got her bagel in a good amount of time. That was good. She had her bagel. But then, her coffee didn’t come out. She had to wait thirty minutes for a coffee and it wasn’t even what she ordered. That was first time there so it was a terrible first impression. Then she decided she’d give them another shot because she really wanted to like the food and the restaurant. No. It took 15 minutes before she asked where her bagel was the second time. Then they told her AFTER SHE HAD BOUGHT THE BAGEL that they were out of that specific bagel. Note. It wasn’t busy when she went. So they instead told her that they were going to give her a bacon bagel instead. 10 more minutes go by… no bagel… 20 minutes go by… still no bagel… it took a whole thirty minutes for them to even start making the bagel. It’s honestly ridiculous that they are so careless that they can’t even get an order right. It’s also ridiculous that it took 45 minutes for her to get a bagel that had some bacon slapped on it. I could make that in five minutes. Also want it to be made aware that by the time they had given her her bogus bagel, her coffee was melted and wasnt good anymore. She had given this place a second chance and they took that chance and stomped it into the ground. It would have been fine if it was one time but it was both times that she had gone there. Also note how this is A CAMPUS RESTAURANT. People don’t have time to wait that freaking long for a bagel. A BAGEL. This needs to be fixed immediately because it’s honestly ridiculous and VERY unprofessional.

I LOVEEEE Einsteins so much! I eat here almost every day and get a large chai latte. The people working at Einsteins are some of the nicest and most welcoming people ever! They make me feel so welcomed and make my day even better. I usually get the turkey, bacon, and avocado sandwhich which is delicious! They also have really good pizza bagels! Highly recommend!
