I found this truck in Ruskin, next to a popular BBQ truck. I gave them a try and I am So Glad I did. I said I wasn’t a fan of mofogo and asked for a bowl which is usually served with mofongo. We ordered the pork and shrimp. I was serv d with rice instead. It was tho most heavenly smell and flavored rice I have ever had! Besides the meat we got very tender fried plantains and pickled onions. The smell was amazing and unique. So good that I am going back to try the mofongo and everything else. The shrimp were large. The pork was fried so it was crispy. It came with a flavored sauce. I would describe the food as a Puerto Rican meets high end flavor fusion. The grand opening was great! The service was friendly and fast! I got the Canoas (Fried sweet plantains filled with picadillo and topped with cheese) and they were absolutely delicious! My daughter got the Croque Monsieur (ham & cheese sandwich with white sauce) which she loved! I highly recommend
