Had the roasted chicken with rice and beans and plantains. Food was normal, nothing special.
Should improve the taste.

So happy to have good latino food in this area. Colombian, buffet style food. Good portions at good prices. They have a small menu which has the traditional Colombian dish, bandeja paisa, and a small selection of Colombian breads, i.e pan de bono and pan de queso. Wish it was open for dinner. I believe it’s also closed on the weekend.

Service is good but I have noticed when the manager or owner isn’t around the employees slack off a bit. I once asked for a smoothie and two workers went back and fourth on who would make it and ultimately told me they didn’t have any more. I’m assuming if they did run out, it was out of the particular fruit I wanted. Best practice would have been to offer me another flavor. Minor detail but I still recommend 100%

Great local spot for Colombian food. Their empanadas and hot food are delicious. Portions are decent as well and so quick and easy to get your food!

Food was ok. Close from work, so it was convenient. However not returning because the manager was extremely rude when I inquired about the inconsistency of serving size and price. She was very arrogant, denied they had different size containers for my meals and implied I was lying. Really? Every other time I would go in and I’d be served in different size containers and then be charged the same price for the same food. I would order the same meal at around 11am and pay $18 for a lunch despite the serving size being smaller every other time. Considering the food is just ok and her treatment was immature, I’d rather not go back and take my business elsewhere.

I really like this place , the counter is set up like a buffet but the employees serve you. You can pick and choose what you want. The chicken is fantastic, they haves legs that are baked and various parts that are fried. They change the meals daily. They seem to always have a rice dish and black beans. It’s just like a home cooked meal. It’s a good, wholesome healthy meal.

We stopped off on a hot summer morning to get some take-out food. This place has unusual hours, 5:15AM to 2:40PM which makes it an excellent place to eat a substantial breakfast at a time when most cafés haven’t even opened yet. I know very little about Colombian food but what I got today was hearty, uncomplicated, and delicious. I had grilled tilapia which was flaky and mild but well seasoned, I think, mostly with black pepper. The meatballs with white rice were also delicious, but, in future, I will be sure to ask for some extra red sauce. The platanos are also delicious and have no excessive sweetening. I don’t know if the cooking at Fogón Latino represents dishes from all over Colombia (it’s a big country with 52 million people) or reflects the tastes of a single region. Whatever the case may be, this Colombian food offers nothing unexpected to the American foody. On a scale of 1 to 10 for “exotic”, where one is a cheeseburger and 10 is super hot curried grasshoppers, this tasty food is a 2. Looking forward to trying everything on their menu.

I WANTED TO SPEND ALL MY $$$ & BUT 80% OF THE ITEMS IN THEY’RE HOT-CASE…I WAS ABLE TO SAMPLE THE LIQUID OF THEY’RE BEEF-SOUP & THIS CHIX-IN-CREAM-SAUCE ITEM & BOTH WERE VERY TASTY…I WAS THE LAST CUSTOMER & NOTICED THAT A LOT OF THE SOUP & THE CHIX/CREAM WAS LEFT IN THE PANS…I’D COMBINE THOSE 2-ITEMS, GIVE IT A FANCY NAME & HAVE IT ON THE MENU & IN THE HOT-CASE TO SELL DAILY…THEY’RE NEW EMPLOYEE WAS GREAT, SHE’LL BE A PLEASANT ADDITION TO THE STAFF. -TDR-

I was just passing through the area on business and I stopped into fogon latino for some lunch and it was absolutely delicious! Freshly made to order food, vegetarian friendly, and fast! Friendly service other than language barrier but it was fine. Did I mention it was delicious? 🙂
