We DEFINITELY want to try this again.
I had the HOT TEJANA, and the (dipping) chili broth really makes it.
My partner had the “WHEN YOU DIP..” a great sandwich (might not do the wiz next time) and the Au Jus is really rich and thick.

A couple before us and a couple after us all had soup and/or salads.
I spoke to the first couple and they really enjoyed what they got, and also said they’d be back.
A couple after us was older and they looked to be familiar with the restaurant already.

Hubs wanted sandwiches for his birthday dinner and had been wanting to come to the Big Dipper. The title world inspired French dips is spot on. I loved the options! It was SO good! I would recommend the sandwiches most, they were the definite stars of the evening!! We got the Seoul-Ed out Korean sandwich and my kids loved the kimchi with the egg and shaved roast beef, it came with a ramen broth dip. Hubs had the find me dippin in the club with grilled chicken breast and creamy chicken soup. We also had the a hunk a hunk a Bernese love which had roasted pork with a mustard dip. All were so well made and could be soaked with the side dips! My younger kid had the yakisoba ramen which he ate up! Look at the menu to see how much good stuff goes into each sandwich. So good and creative, and love reading the menu names! I also had the gluten free and bunless salad but I wish they used a Vietnamese sweet fish dish sauce instead of a semi oily dressing, next time I would just get the Saigon in sixty seconds sandwich cuz I will definitely be back! There’s seating outside on the patio and inside in chairs, at a small bar, and cushioned booths. The drinks are normal Coke products plus hibiscus, caramel apple milk, and cucumber lime, and the sauce bar!! Ketchup, curry ketchup, sesame mayo, curry mayo, Big Dipper sauce, the sauce station was a favorite among the kids and adults alike. Parking on the street can be difficult but we got lucky when we arrived. Definitely a great fast casual spot for delicious creative take on Philly sandwiches with so much flavor and punny sandwich names!

We came on a Sunday for lunch. It was my mother-in-law and my daughter with me. They didn’t have a kids menu on display but she said they had kids grilled cheese and tomato soup which my daughter thoroughly enjoyed. My mother in law got clam chowder and I got the Utahts (like a tater tot casserole). All of it delicious. Service was friendly and quick. Would definitely stop in again. I really want to try their French dip next time!

Discovered this place last night and it was delicious. Went with a group of friends and we all tried different things and left fully satisfied. I had the #6 “Find me Dippin in Da Club” and it was so good – along with the creamy chicken soup the sandwich comes with. I’ll definitely be going back.

Such a fun sandwich shop! They have a lot of different flavors and combinations. We loved the #1 (French dip meets Philly Cheesestake) and the #7 (turkey bacon grilled cheese). Fried and cucumber drink also delicious!

“Find me dipping in the club”
The sandwich was great, juicy and crispy and well paired with the very flavorful creamy chicken soup. The fries were crispy and well seasoned.
They had a great selection of dipping sauces. A couple I’ve never seen is the dipper sauce, which was kinda sweet and the curry mayo. That I did not try.
The aguas frescas were not very good. The cucumber tastes like just plain cucumber water. It was missing lime and sugar. The hibiscus was too bitter, it needed a bit more sweetener.
The service was good. The place is clean and plenty of seating. We say outside on the patio. It was nice with the shade.
Paid Parking on the street

I was downtown for a work meeting and decided to check this place out. Wow- it was such a tasty sandwich with balanced flavors. The idea to have different soup flavors paired for dipping – delicious. I had the Hermosa Habana- I almost stopped back before heading home to buy one for dinner! Quick service, good portions, and decent prices.

I live in Ogden and had been at a two day conference for work. I wanted to grab a bite while I waited out the evening commute traffic. Big Dipper came up as the nearest local sandwich shop when I did a google search, and being a socially drained and starving introvert, I decided to go for it.

Wow did I hit the jackpot finding this little gem! I ordered the Eight Oh Eight, an Italian sandwich with meat and fresh mozzarella and veggies so thick it was falling out of the bun. It came with a small cup of tomato soup and seasoned fries, and while I originally thought I’d save half the sandwich for later because of its size, everything was so delicious I polished it off.

The service was fast and friendly, and they offer a cooler full of specialty fry sauce and mayos for the taking. This place saved me in ways they will never understand.

I highly recommend Big Dipper and will be back for sure!

This was my second time here. I’ve had two different loaded tots (I ate them before i could snap a pic), they were both incredible! So much toppings, they are definitely a meal in themselves. The sandwich’s are also great, huge with lots of fillings, just like I like! I love how creative their menu is. If you like sandwiches and tots, I couldn’t recommend a better place!

Went there on a whim today because it sounded amazing! I was very interested to see raclette on a sandwich, unfortunately I didn’t get any on mine. The ratio of meat to sandwich was perfect however and the flavor was out of this world. I really enjoyed the interplay between the carroway sauerkraut and the beef and the pickles. The fries were good, even cold which is a feat all in itself. Definitely a place I would check out again earlier in the day.
