Great night at The Imperial in Winter Park. The Old Fashioneds were excellent, and the other cocktails were just as good. The live music created a great atmosphere without being overwhelming, and the service was attentive and friendly the whole time.
The food was just as impressive — the burger was flavorful and cooked perfectly, and the chicken Milanese was crispy, fresh, and really well done. Everything we tried was very tasty.
Overall, a great spot for drinks, food, and live music. We’ll definitely be back.

The Imperial on Park is the kind of place that feels both elevated and inviting, striking that rare balance of upscale quality with a warm, approachable atmosphere. From the moment I sat down, I knew I was in good hands.
I’m a huge fan of crab cakes, I order them anywhere and everywhere I go, so I’ve developed a pretty high standard. The Imperial’s crab cakes did not disappoint. Perfectly crisp on the outside, tender and flavorful inside, they were easily among the best I’ve had. The seasoning was spot on, allowing the flavor of the crab itself to shine, and the portion was generous without being heavy. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in execution, because this dish was a standout.
But as good as the food was, the highlight of my visit was the service. Ava was my bartender, and she made the evening exceptional. She has the perfect mix of kindness, humor, and professionalism that makes you feel like more than just a guest. She was attentive without being overbearing, fun without ever losing that sense of polish. It’s rare to come across someone who can elevate an experience simply with their personality, but Ava did exactly that.
Between the food, the drinks, and the service, The Imperial on Park is a place I’ll be recommending often and returning to soon.

My husband and I enjoyed Valentines dinner at the Imperial. The restaurant was very busy, but Ethan, our server took very good care of us! We started with an appetizer- tuna stack, with fresh tuna, and avocado. Our entrees were wonderful as well- salmon tacos, and the swordfish!!

Disappointing Lunch to be sure.
Stopped by for lunch on a beautiful winter afternoon. We were seated immediately and the server came by and got our drinks and lunch order and that’s where the wheels fell off. We ordered a ceviche and a
Cuban sandwich. After 45 minutes of waiting the server came by and apologized for the long wait and said that there was only one cook. Ok, that happens. We weren’t in a hurry. 30 minutes after that we were informed that the delay was the “carmelized onions”. I thought that was a bit weird but again, ok. Then finally lunch came out…Yay. So I am eating this sandwich and I ask for a menu. My cuban sandwich turned into a Duck sandwich. So I pointed out the error and the server said it was her mistake and she apologized. She said that she would take it off the bill, again ok. Everybody has and off day… About 10 minutes later we ask for the bill, she comes back to the table and say because I ate part of my sandwich, they could not take it off the bill, even thought it was not the sandwich I had ordered. VERY DISAPPOINTING. Was it new staff? New Management? New cook? There are to many other excellent options to eat at on Park Avenue to put up with that kind of nonsense.

Stopped in for a quick drink: Mosel Heinrichshof, Pinterest Blanc 2024. Great service & awesome patrons – really friendly & approachable – I had an amazing time & met great people. I can see this as being a regular hang out for me. I love that they have live music & support local artists – so amazing!
Sadly the kitchen was closed, so I wasn’t able to try any food – but now I have an excuse to come back!

The Imperial on Park is a great setting whether you’re looking for a relaxed, upscale dinner, or a night out with your friends and family. My mom and I dined in here on Thanksgiving Eve this year and sat at the bar. We had dinner and drinks. I got the burger with Brie and Jam, Truffle Fries, and an Espresso Martini. The Expresso Martini was superb, not too sweet and not bitter.
They also feature a large selections of wines from the west coast, as well as Italians and French.
The service excelled and the bartenders, Marley and Tino were very kind. Will be looking forward to returning!

Everything is always amazing! Freshest seafood and prepared perfectly every time. Crab cake is to die for, you will crave it! Great selection of wine and beer that pair well with my favorite item which is the Charcuterie board. Soooooo yummy! Live music daily is a bonus, right on Park Avenue! Brunch is delicious and don’t miss the shrimp and grits with the bacon!!! We LOVE Imperial! Bravo

Oh dear. What a performance. Arrived at 13:15. Visiting from London and was greeted quickly enough. Given a table outside which was perfectly fine. Was approached by the server after 10 minutes. Asked for water and drinks and given menus. 20 minutes passed, still no drinks. Another 5 minutes. Drinks came. No order taken. I wish I was making this up! Another 10 minutes and finally took our order. 15 minutes after that. We got the starter of crab cakes which I have to say were absolutely fabulous. No empty glasses taken. In the meantime a lovely father and daughter sat at the table next to us and started their individual experience. Table behind me received their food. Waiting for burgers another 25 mins. Father and daughter had still not received their drinks. Anyway. After this whole joke of a service, the manager fully comped father and daughter. Even after he went to the manager and explained that my experience had been far worse than theirs. No cutlery, no drinks, waiting times. After all this. I explained to the manager that I was extremely disappointed and dissatisfied at the service. The food was great. The drinks were great! But the service was appalling, disrespectful and completely entitled. I said I would pay for the food and drinks but service. Not a chance! He eventually discounted my bill by 25% yet still fully comped father and daughter table. Interesting. Very poor. Even more disappointing.

We live for impromptu date nights and usually end up on Park Ave, but somehow we had completely overlooked The Imperial on Park—and wow, I’m glad we finally stopped in.
Our server was personable and really took the time to walk us through the menu. We trusted her suggestions and were not disappointed: the truffle fries, burrata, and duck sandwich were all incredible. I hadn’t eaten all day, so I fully indulged, and every bite was worth it.
We finished with the gluten-free cheesecake (which my fiancé swore he didn’t like until he tried it—now he says he’ll crave it). That alone deserves five stars.
The vibe was exactly what we needed on a quiet Thursday night after a networking event: relaxed, full of character, and run by employees who clearly have heart.
I don’t like to overhype places, but if you’re looking for a low-key spot with soul, this is it.

Imperial on Park is a standout in Winter Park. The space is beautifully done, the service is attentive without being overbearing, and the food is consistently well executed. It’s clear there’s intention behind everything – from the menu to the atmosphere. A great spot for both a casual night out or bringing guests when you want to make a strong impression.
