Available for breakfast, lunch and dinner in The Bistro, Bar and Lounge, and in the members-only Club Room and Club Terrace, the Bistro menu offers traditional brasserie fare with a New England twist. For lunch and dinner, a selection of starters and entrees are simply prepared and presented, with an emphasis on fresh local meats and sustainable seafood.

The cutest restaurant and hotel in watch hill Rhode Island. The service was 5 star! Cute and cozy atmosphere and the oceanfront views were stunning! Ordered the burrata, pasta and burger! (the burger was a little bland) but will most definitely be back to try other menu items. The perfect place to get together with your girlfriends, a date, or a special occasion/celebration!

Nice experience. Beautiful view and great service. Food was just bland. Had a cheese charcuterie and calamari for an appetizer. Both were good, though expected more from the calamari for the portion size and presentation for its price. Focaccia bread was good. Entree was a lobster roll. Good amount of lobster but some of the lobster was chewy and hard to eat. I’ve probably had a dozen lobster rolls from different places this year and sadly this might have been the worst one, all the while it was the most expensive. Dessert was mostly the best part. Had the Bacon Banana Creme Brulee which was very unique and good.
From talking to my family afterwards, we generally all had the same consensus. Dessert was the high point, but the rest of the food tended to be very bland. Just expected more. Wouldn’t return for the food.

I cannot say enough good things about Ocean House Bistro. Every single time we dine here, the experience is phenomenal. The food is incredibly consistent, which is something that truly sets this restaurant apart. My go-to dish is the filet, and it is hands down the best I have ever had—always cooked perfectly and exactly the same every visit.
Equally outstanding is the service, especially Ian, the sommelier. He consistently elevates the entire experience by taking the time to ask thoughtful questions and truly understand our taste and palate. Every wine recommendation has been spot on, and it’s clear how knowledgeable and passionate he is about what he does.
Between the exceptional food, impeccable consistency, and personalized service, I could not recommend the Bistro more.

Best dining experience in a long time. Food was excellent. Service was even better. We were greeted by name at the table by our server which immediately suggested to us that they care. Both servers were very polite and professional.
We started with raw oysters and octopus then scallops with Brussels sprouts. Finished with coffee and crème brûlée.

Dining at The Bistro in Ocean House was truly a delight. Every part of the experience was immaculate. Of course, the environment is beautiful as the hotel in which the restaurant is located is one of the most stunning oceanfront hotels in the world. Dining as the sun was setting while overlooking the ocean made for a special experience I will remember fondly. The service was world-class and catered to each party’s needs with great understanding. They went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a wonderful experience. The food matched the service with its high quality. I thoroughly recommend the Parker House rolls (which come with a wide variety of butters and spreads), the rigatoni, and the Brussels sprouts. Each dish was crafted beautifully with generous portions. I felt the food was priced very reasonably, especially considering how special the experience was. Dining at Ocean House should be on everyone’s list when visiting the area for an impeccable experience.

Amazing Sunday Brunch with our family – the bottomless mimosas & oysters were the highlight! The lobster bisque was out of this world and our main dishes were lovely! The kids enjoyed the endless crepe station & assortment of desserts. Left very full & very satisfied. Service was slow and not super attentive, food came out very slowly but we enjoyed that. I had a delightful experience at this location, which is absolutely ideal for summer outings.
The Sunday course brunch is a noteworthy highlight, and while the food was satisfactory, the shrimp cocktail truly stole the show. The ocean view adds to the overall atmosphere, and the outdoor cocktail bar is simply fantastic. The garden area was another beautiful touch.
There was a minor hiccup with the to-go dessert packaging; the box provided was too large to fit into the bag properly. As a result, the desserts were squished together, making it difficult to distinguish one from another. Despite this small issue, I am eager to return and would highly recommend the experience.

We went on a rather quiet evening, my Dad is hard of hearing so we requested a quieter table in the corner. They were seating us next to two large tables that were very loud. They refused our request. They had many empty tables in a quieter area in the same room open, unfortunately,
it was a tough nite for my hearing impaired Dad. This is unusual that the gentlemen denied our request as they are usually very accommodating here.
The atmosphere is normally lovely. They need to consider requests for hearing impaired folks.

Every visit to Ocean House delivers exceptional service, cuisine, and ambiance, but this time the team truly outdid themselves, transforming a wonderful afternoon into a cherished memory. Trevor and the Bistro staff welcomed my family with genuine warmth and went the extra mile to celebrate our special occasion. Every hotel would do well to follow their example and provide such an outstanding experience.
