We decided to order a late lunch from soups and scoops for my mother’s birthday. Living around the corner, we thought giving this local business a try would be a good thing.

Attached in the photos is what we ordered. When my mother opened up her omelette grilled cheese this was the appearance. The eggs are gray, the cheese (which there is a ridiculous amount of) isn’t even melted & the bread was haggard.

I went immediately back and asked “this looks awful” & they apologized. They offered to make me something else but if that is how you cook. I don’t want it. I left the sandwich there and I am awaiting contact from the owner for a partial refund. I asked for a refund of just the sandwich and they said “we are not authorized to conduct refunds. I will take your information down for the owner.

This is unacceptable quality for the price you are charging.

Ps. The corn soup has 3 corn kernels in it and looks NOTHING like the photo.

The soups here are amazing—perfect for those days when you don’t feel like cooking after work. You can just pick some up, and they even have multiple delivery options which makes it super convenient.

Honestly, I don’t know what’s better: the soup or the owner! She is one of the most humble and sweetest people you’ll meet. She always has a bright smile on her face the moment you walk in and makes everyone feel so welcome.

Highly recommend this place. If you haven’t tried it yet, you definitely should!

I’ve wanted to stop for some time, but since I don’t live in the area I had to wait for the perfect opportunity. This weekend was it! The staff let me try a few of the soup flavors and I walked out with 3 different kinds to share with family that were all DELICIOUS. I bought a quart of the chickpea which has lasted a few days and I loved the coffee too. I might just have to make the move to RI 🙂 Great shop, Lily! Can’t wait to come back and try the frozen drinks when it warms up!

Ordered a $20 chicken noodle soup. There was NO chicken and barely any noodles. It was also ice cold. The soup itself tasted like pure water. Awful experience and ended up having to door dash food from somewhere to my job for my dinner

We got 2 of the hangover helper specials. It came with a coffee, grilled cheese, a bowl of soup and a cookie. We bought 2 small ice creams and 4 more cookies for later. The freezer burnt ice cream was the best part. The soup tasted bland, the grilled cheese was nothing like it was pictured, all the cookies were stale, and coffee was not bad. All together we spent $80. It was literally hangover food at cafe prices.

Long over due review. I came into this adorable shop a few weeks ago & had the most amazing experience. If you’re looking for a place that has a little bit of everything to fill your soul you have found it. From the soups made fresh from scratch with homemade bone or vegetable broth! I had the Portuguese kale & also have had the tomato soup both DELICIOUS, fresh and packed with flavor. To a pesto grilled cheese with prosciutto made with their homemade bread. As if that wasn’t enough to fulfill all my indulgences I moved on over to the ice cream counter …. Yup that pumpkin ice cream is still calling my name. This spot will be my go to year round from a quick hot sandwich when I’m in a rush, a creamy cone of ice cream on a warm day or fresh soup to warm me up on a chilly day or to cure pretty much all the viruses my kids bring home. Also you can buy large quantities of soup to bring home & share with the whole family. Lily’s soups & scoops will be my go to spot especially on those cold winter nights when I’m in need a soup fix. Also almost forgot to mention the cute little outdoor area with connect 4 and tables and chairs where we sat to enjoy our food, super inviting !

Delicious food, transparent ingredients, the staff is knowledgeable, quick, and friendly. My dog loves the pup cups so much that she knows the name and where we go to get them.

Absolutely adorable! I had no idea this place existed but I’m definitely coming back! Cute interior, lovely staff, a wide array of soups (including vegetarian), grilled cheese, tea/coffee, frozen beverages, ice cream. We had come in for ice cream but allspice left with a caprese grilled cheese and a beans/greens soup!!! Very dangerous to learn they also have quarts ready to go and they do delivery!
