Simple family diner with great food. We stopped in to warm up from a cold winter job. The place is simple but clean, the bathroom was nice and clean, but the food is the main attraction. Everyone seemed friendly and knew eachother. It was sweet that they seemed to have regulars with their little usual spots and usual orders. It’s clearly a well loved spot.

I had never been to Silver Cafe & Confectionary. I went there with my friend who had never been there before either. I ordered the chicken fingers and fries and my friend ordered a burger and fries. We both had water to drink. The lady that served us was kind. She brought me extra ketchup when I asked. My food was good. The place was clean. If you’re hungry in Cobalt, give it a try.

food was okay, service was non-existent. no acknowledgement when we walked in (“sit wherever you like” is 4 words and costs $0 to say), I wasn’t allowed to get ketchup on my burger because it “was already on the table” (28 years and I’ve never seen someone be that cheap), didn’t ask if we wanted more water even once, didn’t check on us after the food arrived even once, and overall we got a sense that somehow providing her with business was inconveniencing her. I feel bad knowing this is one of the few choices for cobaltians to eat at.

Best Poutine within 20 Kilometers! Everything blends together perfectly. Not too salty either. Truck stop style.

We order from here quite a bit, especially the pizza. It’s always been the best pizza in the tri towns, unfortunately today was a bit of a dissapointment as my family and I couldn’t eat past 1 slice seeing as the cheese was half cooked and the dough was semi cooked also. Probably will not be ordering the pizza for a while, maybe it was an off day for the workers but im saddened at how poorly the pizza was made today.
