Supposed to be 1.79$ tacos on Tuesdays. I went and they raised the price to 2.29 each which I was okay with but when I gave them a 20 for the 9.15$ I was supposed to be charged he just gave me a ten back stealing another almost dollar. Honestly the food is soo mid already, with the price increase and them stealing money on top of it. I had to warn others and write this review. I’ll never be back the food is gross anyway. With the reply from taqueria campos being I “should learn math” maybe they should. I watched the register and I was charged 2.29$ per taco for 4 tacos it came out to 9.16$. I gave the man a 20 and was given back 2 five dollar bills. When someone says their money was stolen and the “company” responds with learn math I think that speaks for itself.

If I could give zero stars I would, Horrible food and the worst quality you can buy always giving you days old , I’ve tried numerous times being a loyal customer here but they have always been a disappointment. Everything they sell you is days old. Don’t waste your money, save the trip go some place else. This place is a dump.

It’s always an excellent experience going here! Everyone is so friendly and the food is nothing short of delicious every time, and most times, enough food for 2 people is only around 10-15 dollars. Cary is lucky to have several great Mexican food spots, but Taqueria Campos is easily the best. On Tuesdays, tacos are $1.78, and it’s always fun to stop by for lunch.

I’ve had their burrito de tripa before and it was good, but this last time they charged me $15.75 (for a single burrito) when they menu says $9.99, plus the burrito barely had tripa inside, most of the filling was rice. Sorry I’m not coming back.

I’ve been coming here for the last few years and let me tell you I’ve had yet to find a place that makes a better burrito. Best burrito place I’ve been too, it’s well balanced and lots of food for the money. It’s all fresh ingredients, everything is made there. I always get the El Pastor and the marinate they use is perfect for burritos since it’s not sauce heavy. Not the greatest place to sit down and eat but takeout 100%.

Nice small place tucked into a strip mall. Add tacos barbacoa. Which were excellent. We also had the largest tray of nachos ever. It serves over four people. The staff was friendly and the food was served quickly and piping hot. Superfresh.

Carnita tacos had way too much cartilage. I’m okay, on occasion, with “de res” but every bite was crunching with cartilage. It was unpleasant. The lengua had no flavor and the salsas were greasy, watery and salty. Not a great first experience. It will be my last.
