Visited Cafe BC at Birds Creek on the way to Algonquin from Silent Lake, and it was a wonderful stop! It’s one of the few places in the area that could comfortably accommodate our large group of 12 people. The food was delicious, freshly made, and perfect for a mid-journey meal. The staff were friendly and efficient, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. A great spot to stop by for lunch if you’re traveling through!

We had such an amazing experience at this restaurant today. I ordered fish and chips and was not disappointed. The portion is very large and really has the home made feel. Our server was top notch. Very impressed! Came back for another day and got a buffalo chicken wrap and dilly wrap, SO good.

We were in the mood for some great Canadiana atmosphere in a local diner near beautiful Bancroft and Café BC answered the call. Great lunch great and friendly service and amazing butter tarts. Highly recommend.

Great service. Hot food served fast – restaurant was only 1/3 full as it was only just open on a Monday. We also took some butter tarts home and oh my YUM.

Such warm and friendly atmosphere where everyone knows everyone. The food is always made from the heart and custom to the customers order if needed. The Service is fast and friendly and if you don’t know them, they make you feel like you do know them already like you are from the community.
To top things off The B.C Cafe always has draws happing where you have a chance to win a beautiful painting done from a local artist, these paintings are stunning and would be lucky to get one.

This place is truly a hidden gem. Awesome food and friendly service. Our server was great with suggestions. Had a Ceasar salad and Meatloaf followed by Lemon Meringue Pie for dessert, all of which were absolutely delicious. It’s located about 27 mins drive North East of Silent Lake on Hwy 62. We loved the food so much we decided we will be visiting here everytime we camp at Silent Lake.

Stopped in today for a late lunch. Service was friendly and food was prompt and delicious. We were riding our motorcycles and I mentioned I was very thirsty from the heat and our waitress brought an entire pitcher of water which was super appreciated! Would visit again as there were a few different things I’d like to try on the menu.
