I love this place, it’s the best place in town for a sandwich, I can promise you that!!
This whole area is an oasis for the best of the best restaurants in the entire Lansing/ EL area, at least that’s the opinion of most people’s who spend any time out here! The east-East Side is the best!

Freaky fast? More like never shows up! I love love love ordering from a company that markets themselves as being super fast with their delivery that takes a minimum of 3 years to deliver to a location that is quite literally a 4 minute drive being generous. Are the drivers being held hostage somewhere en route? I guess we will never know because there is no way to track their cars when theyre on their way. I placed my order at 11:18 am and it arrived at 12:28pm! That’s over an hour for a 7 minute walk…. If I wasn’t working like the Jimmy Johns workers obviously aren’t I would go pick it up myself but alas, I have things to do. Subway at least delivers in a timely manner with better subs.

FACT: The average human crawling speed is between 0.5 and 1.5 mph. Jimmy John’s is 0.6 miles from my location. It took them 1 hour and 15 minutes- 0.6 miles ÷ 1.25 hours = 0.48 mph.
So Jimmy John’s delivery was literally slower than crawling: I could have crawled to the store on all fours, in traffic, while crying, and still arrived sooner. If you’re marketing yourself as “freaky fast,” maybe aim to at least beat the speed of a crawling toddler with one sock on.

Slowest delivery I’ve ever experienced…. four times I’ve ordered from this store. Every time, it takes over an hour for the sandwich to even LEAVE THE STORE… let alone be delivered.
When it does arrive, it’s tasty, don’t get me wrong. But waiting 90 minutes for a Jimmy John’s sandwich is not freaky fast..

I’ve ordered from this Jimmy John’s multiple times and I always have issues (it’s my fault for continuing to go back despite the issues but I wanted to give them a second chance… And a third chance… And a fourth chance…). I only ever order one sandwich but multiple times, it has taken over an hour and a half for them to be made. I thought it was a one time thing, but clearly not… I understand longer wait times during rush hour, but I’ve also had issues other times as well with things like forgotten drinks, etc. The staff just seem to have no disregard for their customers whatsoever. The sandwiches are decent, but that is if you can even get one after having to wait almost two hours for a single sandwich.

Who ever manages this location needs to get the ice machine issue figured out. It’s broke about 60% of the time over the last 3 months. There used to be an older gentleman that worked here that would haul ice out from the back and dump it in the machine. I’m guessing “broken ice machine” is code for no one wants to do that anymore given that it’s been intermittently broke for so long.

The sandwiches I ordered were made “freaky fast”. The employee at the counter made the suggestion of ordering my daughter the smaller size sandwich (smaller than the 6″) which I appreciated.
The food was good. Kind of sloppily constructed, but I was able to fix that in the car so that I could eat while driving without it being too messy.
This is the 3rd JJ’s location I’ve been to in the past month. It ranks 2/3 (Kalamazoo being 1/3 and Portage, MI being 3/3). Will return, as this location is convenient!

Always get the order wrong in multiple ways. If you select extra you get almost none and if you add sauce packets they’re not included. Often times add things you said to remove, and don’t include additions. It is way to over priced to be that wrong every time. The gas station sandwiches are better at this point. Done with just throwing money away on Jimmy Johns.
