I just left this store and I gotta say, I’ve had a very bad week. I walked out of there with a huge smile on my face and a pep in my step. It’s not for the food but the kind and funny bunch of employees that love what they do. I loved chatting with the manager and employees about what I had going on. I truly enjoyed talking with them. From now on I know, when I go to subway in port Neches, I’m not there for the food anymore. #pickleGirl

This store is staffed primarily by several young adults/teenagers with brightly colored hair and the friendliest attitudes of any Subway I’ve ever been to—and that’s a lot!
These “kids” are polite, hardworking, and attentive. They get the orders right every time and they do it on time. I use the app to order ahead and the bring our sandwiches out to my SUV. They smile, make eye contact, and thank me for coming. So good!
Once last week, I missed the window for curb delivery by a few minutes and got out to go in the store. They recognized me and my service dog from our regular visits and let me know that I could call them directly and they’d be happy to run my sandwiches out to my car. I truly appreciate that. I didn’t even ask—they offered.
While I was inside I could see that the store and their food prep area were perfectly clean and well stocked. (I worked at a Subway in college, so I notice everything all the time. ♀️)
I can’t say enough about how nice they are. They’ve complemented my hair, my dog, and occasionally one of my band or Star Wars t-shirts. They make just enough conversation to be friendly without keeping me too long or avoiding their work.
And they never ask for tips even though they definitely deserve them. I usually tip, but if I forget a time or 2 they didn’t change their level of service a bit.
Today, they were out of the bread for our order (first time they’ve been out of stock on anything) and they called ahead to ask what bread we would like to substitute and told us all about the breads.
This experience, as well as all of my many other experiences at this location have been top notch. Thanks to the entire crew! Excellent job! ❤️

Was In This Area So I Decided To Stop By This Location, Since I Had Eaten There In Years. Walked In, The Worker Was In The Back. She came out and Greeted Me And Asked “What Can She Help Me With” She Proceeds To Open Up The Meat Thingy With The Same Gloves She Had On, When She Came From The Back. I Was Livid. So Im guessing, she was gonna make my Sandwich WITH THE SAME GLOVES SHE HAD ON. DIDN’T EVEN ATTEMPT TO CHANGE GLOVES. NO I DIDNT ORDER. NO I WONT BE GOING BACK. THATS VERY UNSANITARY. I WILL CONTINUE TO GO ON 69. DO BETTER! DONT NOBODY KNOW WHAT YOU WAS DOING IN THE BACK. YALL SHOULD BE CHANGING GLOVES AFTER EVERY SANDWHICH, TRANSACTION ARE WHATEVER THE CASE MAY BE.

Went to the Port Neches Texas Subway today and it was dirty. Tables needed cleaning off, trash all over the floor. We ordered our sandwich and they were out of more ingredients than they had. Very disappointed in this location. Needs remodeling.

Today I taught my son how to make a sandwich. I told him to start with bread, you can toast if you want, put on your mayonnaise, add pickles, tomatoes, add the lettuce, put on some turkey, and then close the sandwich by putting the second piece of bread on top of everything. My son followed all of my directions and successfully made the sandwich exactly as I instructed him to. My son is five. I was proud to know that his capabilities and intelligence surpasses all of those that work at this Subway.

This place sucks. They don’t ever put any ingredients on your sandwich even when you ask for extra. I ordered a foot long cold cut the didn’t put all of the meat in there. Asked for extra mayo and extra pickles extra mayo. Comes with lettuce and 3 meats onions American cheese.then the chick making the food was so rude because I wanted another sandwich made. This place sucks. Don’t go. Go to a different location even if it is further away, it’s worth it.

Very racist and rude. The worker sat my messed up order in the window and didn’t hand it to me. I asked for my money back because the order was wrong and I was told no I can’t get my money back because they already made it. I never touched the bag when I asked for the refund.

My husband went thru the drive way to get himself a sandwich after work, he got to the intercom mind you I’m on the phone with him the whole time, he gets the how are you doing please wait, after about 10 or so minutes of waiting my husband said something and the guy came back over the speaker asked him to wait again, then he must have waited for about 15-20 mins and finally said I’m leaving. I’m not sure how many workers you have but honestly you should hire more. Your workers customer service skills also need to be picked up cause when it came up to the 20 range he tried talking to them again and the guy never answered him anymore just completely ignored him over the intercom. I have worked as a manager over the years and have never seen this type of customer service so bad.

Horrible experience! Pulled up to the window at 9:30 and the worker slammed open the window and my husband asked how it was going and he said “not good man you know we close in 20 minutes” yes they may close at 10 but my husband didn’t get off until 8:30 and didn’t get home until 9 to pick us up. He works from 7 am until 8 pm and I work from home from 9am to 6pm and take care of 4 kids so getting back to work after being off for Christmas was hectic and I didn’t want to cook another meal today. We wanted to order 5 sandwiches all the same thing which was the subway melt and he said they don’t do them the machine is broken and then asked us if we ment the melt with Ham, Bacon, Turkey, and cheese so we said yes because that’s what the Subway melt is and then asked us if we wanted it toasted so I’m not sure what machine is broken to where they can’t do the Subway Melt. Then when we go to pay he snatched my husband’s card out of his hand and my husband said thank you and he slammed the window in his face.
