I made a reservations days earlier for my wife and I for Valentine’s Day, so I was surprised when we arrived to find the choice for supper involved a mandatory prix fixe menu which had not been revealed to us. We spent considerable time making certain the menu satisfied my wife and I needs before securing the reservation. In the end, we decided the menu was satisfactory.

My wife felt the venue lacked the ambiance she would have liked.

The food was on the smallish size, but it was adequate. It was delicious and high quality.

One desert was provided for both of us. Alcoholic drinks were $12 each but service was slow.

Cost wax $85 with a mandatory 20% tip added to the bill.

I was visiting St Augustine for work, and ordered from this restaurant many times. All the staff was amazing and made me feel like I was truly home away from home…I especially enjoyed chatting with Katalin when she was working the front! Tonight is my last night here and I had a special request for my to go order that she made happen and it really meant a lot to me. Thank you for the delicious food and the new friend! I hope to be back again soon. So grateful!

What a beautiful restaurant! You would never guess you were inside a resort.

Thank you to Angela for the wonderful recommendations. My Champs de Provence, 2021, Rose, Provence FR, went extremely well with my Shrimp Cocktail sprinkled with Old Bay & served with a splash of cocktail sauce. The Grilled Cheshire Pork Chop with roasted potatoes & pomegranate reduction was cooked to perfection- I’ve honestly never had a pork chop this tender before!

Thank you for a wonderful experience, I can’t wait to visit you guys again!

We were there on Christmas Day and they were sorely unprepared. My wife and I were served our meals, but our son was not. We waited for several minutes and still no food for our son. We checked on it and it turned out we had been served another table’s similar meals. My wife’s meal was not complete and was mediocre at best. By the time we had been reassured our son’s meal was coming soon, my food was cold. I went on and ate and will admit that the flavor was good. Our son’s food finally arrived after we had both finished eating our meals. Totally unacceptable. A manager came over and was very apologetic and we agreed that he was going to comp my wife’s meal completely, discount the remainder of the check, and comp dessert for each of us. Ten minutes later we were brought the dessert menus and we ordered dessert. After waiting 20 minutes for the desserts, we asked for the check, paid the bill and left without any dessert. Not a great way to end our Christmas and our trip fron North Carolina to St Augustine.

My husband & I stayed one night at Hampton Inn St Augustine Beach, and we got there on Tuesday. we were anticipating eating at the Sunset Grille as we had before when we stayed. Closed Tuesdays We decided to take a walk over to the Embassy Suites, I’m so glad we did. The lobby is huge, and all decorated for Christmas. There were guests sitting in the lounge area, lots of couches. Kelly, our hostess, seated us and asked where we were from, she was so friendly. Kelly kept coming back to check on us, and asked us if everything was good. Jack was our server. Best service! My husband had the rib eye steak. He said it was on the best steaks he’s ever had.
It was lovely. I think we will book on our way back north. Even if you don’t stay there, at least try the restaurant, you won’t be disappointed.

Good food. We ate here twice. One for dinner and once for the free breakfast. For dinner, the filet was great but we did ask for it to be cooked a little longer because it was mid rare versus mid well. The side dish of potato’s was just okay so you may want to ask to substitute for one of the other sides. The salads were great. Good wine selection. The break buffet was not very good so I suggest skipping that except for bacon and head straight to the grill for an omelette or fried eggs. They also have great oatmeal, breads, fruit, yogurt and cereals. They have many juices and sift drinks. They have a coffee bar but it’s industrial requiring cream and sugar. Some guests were avoid the coffee bar that came free with breakfast and paying for latte’s at the Starbucks next to the restaurant. Service was great and all the people are nice. The location right on property was convenient. I especially liked them not automatically adding a tip to everything allowing me to decide on the amount.

The food was very mediocre. It took a long time to get what we ordered and when it arrived, it was not enjoyable. The onion rings were listed in the menu as “hose made” although I don’t know if they were boasting about just being cooked there or cut, battered and cooked because they were grease logged. They arrived w before the entrees instead of being spaced apart. The artichoke dip was terrible and tasted like it was canned artichoke not fresh. The grandkids did not eat their food. The “Mac n cheese” was from a box!! The only thing fresh was the fruit. I ordered the diver scallops and they were served with something similar to succotash. Overall the meal was sub par.

We were there for breakfast only. There was a buffet style line that included bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, pancakes, and diced potatoes. Another area for oatmeal, mixed fruit, and grits. You can also special order omelets in another line. They offer regular and decaf coffee. If you want a specialty coffee, there’s a Starbucks in the lobby as well for separate cost. It was a pleasant experience.

Harvest & Reel is good but not great. If you’re a seafood lover, it’s a home run fresh, flavorful, and well presented. But if seafood isn’t your thing, the menu feels limited. I’ll say the views and atmosphere are excellent, and the drinks are well crafted.

Went in here for the first time because of the Embassy suites reception and it was super. You can sit at a variety of places including outdoors. Went back on our second night and our server was the wonderful Cori again. Very good service, always checking on us. This time we had food. Perfect to accompany our drinks from the happy hour menu until 7pm.
