Stopped here with my husband for a few quick drinks because we love to sit by the big open window and chill. We went right when they opened during the week after Labor Day and there was only one other person there. Our server was nice and attentive. I got a Chardonnay and he got a beer. We decided we should grab a bite while we were there and each got a classic lobster roll. We both thought the roll was fantastic!

I came here with a group of 8 (family friends with 3 little ones). It was difficult to find the location, because we didn’t know it was on the second level and there were no noticeable signs outside. We became skeptical when we walked in and realized there were no other customers in the restaurant; but because we didn’t want to wait any longer with hungry little kids, we decided to take a seat.
The menu is very simple with lobster being their staple. I tried The Lobster Bar Classic Roll and it was pretty yummy, but it definitely didn’t live up to the hefty price of $38 MP. I think offering better quality sides would make up for the price – like other seafood dishes, rather than just potatoes (chips/fries)
It would also be a good idea to provide menus with photos or have easily accessible QR codes to see online menus. The images I saw on the website would encourage customers to make decisions easier. Had I seen the photos, I think I would have instantly gone for the Cobb Salad instead of a Roll.
All in all, it was a good experience thanks to our very patient waitress. I probably would not come back or recommend it unless the restaurant made significant improvements.

We stopped by on Christmas Eve, 15 minutes prior to close. The bartender welcomed us and was very accommodating. They were out of fish so we ordered a fried shrimp platter, fried chicken fingers, calamari and chicken sandwich. The entrees were average. Really appreciated the service though. Location and ambience is excellent.

The lobster roll is so amazing. I never wanted it to end! The bread was great and the lobster was cooked to perfection. After having a so called lobster roll at a certain salty restaurant I had to have a do over and I’m really glad I did. Also if you don’t like seafood my husband says the burger is excellent. We will definitely be back.

The food was fantastic and service was outstanding. We were able to find a table within minutes and served drinks as soon as we sat down. Must try is the Maine lobster roll, fish and chips and shrimp and fries! I would eat here again.

Every time I’m in Hilton Head, I have to stop by the Lobster Bar near Coligny Beach. It’s one of those places that becomes a tradition after your first visit. I’ve probably ordered their lobster roll a dozen times by now—and it’s perfect every single time.
The lobster is always fresh, tender, and full of flavor. They don’t drown it in mayo or overdo it with extra stuff—it’s simple, classic, and just really well done. The bun is toasted just right, buttery on the outside, soft on the inside, and holds up nicely without getting soggy. Whether you like it warm with butter or chilled with a light dressing, they nail it.
The vibe here is super relaxed, which fits perfectly with the beachy surroundings. You can roll in after a day in the sun, grab a seat on the patio, and enjoy a great meal without any fuss. The staff is always friendly and on top of things. It’s one of those places where you instantly feel welcome.
If you’re anywhere near Coligny and craving seafood—especially a lobster roll—this is the place. I keep coming back, and it’s always one of the highlights of my trip. Honestly, I don’t even look at the menu anymore. I just sit down and say, “One lobster roll, please.”

Excellent lobster rolls. The portion is a little small but perfect for me since I don’t eat a ton at once. Caesar salad was good as well as the piña colada. Nice open air bar w/a nice view. Very clean. Nice staff.

We stopped in just to check out the atmosphere one night and chatted with Brandon for a minute and left. Brandon was so welcoming and pleasant that we went back the next day to check out the food and have some drinks. Brandon was so friendly. He is just happy to be working and seems to really love the owners and the vibe they are trying to give to customers. He encouraged us to relax and have drinks after we ate. We didn’t feel rushed at all. It was very nice. The open air vibe is the best! We love being in the sun and feeling the warm ocean breeze. The lobster roll was perfect! My husband lived in Maine for 15 years and he was impressed!!! We visit HH a lot for my husband’s job so we will be regulars just to chill and have drinks on the patio and catch up with Brandon. If I ever open a restaurant, I will definitely be stealing him to run the place!
