a lot of variety on the menus. Enjoyed well cooked fried rice, squid, crispy chicken skin, very good steamed dim sum dumplings. smelt was tasty served with head-on shrimps. chicken came with a large bowl of white rice. we also enjoyed a pleasant bowl of soup that included large shrimps in dumplings and some fresh napa greens. Our young daughters enjoyed the shrimp and fried rice and also the squid. we went on a Wednesday evening, the waiter was pleasant. we have some extra for tomorrow. I would suggest they offer some lemonade for the kids.

Very good Chinese food. They have the best pork egg fu young! The soups are excellent; we usually get egg drop and hot & sour. Singapore Noodles and Yan Zhow Chow Mein are fabulous! The Ma Po Tofu and Chinese Egg Plant with Garlic are really good too, and not something I ever found at another Chinese restaurant. Staff sometimes seem short on patience, the dining room isn’t as nice as their Hales Corners restaurant (now closed), but it’s always clean. You can tell that they really care about making good food. We usually get takeout a couple of times per month.

Very rude lady on the phone, I ordered squid with salt and pepper and requested the same larger pieces you get when you dine in. The ones I received were tentacles. They basically sell you the leftover pieces when you Carry out. I will not support this restaurant anymore especially when they are so rude over the phone.

Frank Lai’s Fortune Restaurant offers the most authentic Cantonese food in Milwaukee. The food is so clean and fairly priced. We go there once a week and order enough for a few more dinners too. You’ll be a fan too!

Had lunch with friends to celebrate a birthday. Only four of us. Food was good but service from older man was terrible. He was rude, got my order wrong. I ordered shrimp , I was brought chicken. My friends heard what I ordered,, but he refused to listen. He said “that’s what he wrote on the check and chicken is just as good as shrimp. ” had to ask four times for napkins. Wanted an order to go and had to persist with him about what I wanted. Won’t go at lunch time ever again. He was so RUDE.

Do not come here. Go to Sze Chuan Restaurant instead or Panda Express. Trust me, You will be greeted with way better Service & Food.
I came here to try it out, they have a drive thru sign so I figured you can order that way. Lady in the window took my order, I was being very polite and kind and she wasn’t. She didn’t greet me, spoke very little to me but her face said everything. Still I go home with high expectations as someone suggested I come here. They forgot an item in my order and I was furious bc even after the terrible service I received they got my order wrong. I would’ve gotten past the attitude if she at least got my order right but now I had to drive back to get my missing item.
Spoke to the manager who to my surprise had the same attitude issue as the lady did. He didn’t try to make things right, didn’t excuse himself or her even after telling him he should mind how his employees are with customers, he shut the drive thru window in my face, told me I couldn’t even order thru drive thru anyways to say the least. Honestly the food wasn’t all that bad but with the customer experience it all left a bad taste in my mouth so why bother. If that’s the attitude they have directly to the customer imagine behind the scenes. They’re not making that food with love or care, they probably would get marked down by ecoshore/lab. Worse customer service ever, don’t expect high standards or quality here. And in case the owner reads this; put a pick up sign instead or a drive thru sign if you don’t want people treating it like a drive thru and my Allah serves justice so if you think your business is going to continue to thrive the way you are all acting think again. I hope you all have a change of heart truly.

The food is horrible here. They tenderize their meat and its mushy. The orange chicken was nasty with red syrup and no flavor. The fried chicken appetizer had no taste or seasoning. The walnut shrimp was the only thing that was good.

Fortune Chinese Restaurant is my favorite place for delicious Chinese food. It reminds me of nicer restaurants I’ve eaten at in China. Weekday lunches are about $10.

Good authentic Chinese food. I alway order the spicy squid. The dim sum is a different story. The chicken feet is dry and weird looking. Just stick to the dishes and avoid the dim sum.
