This is my first time here and my husband took me to lunch. I got the mushroom cheesesteak with wiz and he got the Philly cheese steak with sauteed onions and peppers and he also got an order of cheese fries for me to try again for it being my first time I rate it five stars it is a clean environment the food was absolutely amazing the service was fast and I can only have the sandwiches so big definitely if you’re in San Clemente I recommend you come and try this place

This place was great. The cheesesteak I had was just what I was hoping for. I got my philly the way I like it: whiz cheese, onions, muchrooms, and hoagie spread. The staff was very polite and quick to take my order. They also have hoagie spread and Tasty Cakes for sale here too.

We really love coming here!! The food is really good and the service is really fast/ nice!! I grew up in PA so it brings the nostalgia back! They are perfect for takeout too, which is what we do. The photos are of the chicken hoagie, south Philly salad, pizza chicken, and the Cheesesteak fries. They never disappoint!! ❤❤❤

Cheesesteak hoagie for dine in was excellent. I’ve been to pretty much every cheesesteak place in OC and this one doesn’t disappoint. It’s also cleaner than some of the other more dive places such as in Costa Mesa at Frank’s. I’ve ordered delivery from here before but eating in was MUCH better. The fact that they open so early at 9:30am is awesome and there were a fair number of early customers there at that time as I was.
Tips:
– Ask for mayo on the bread on your cheesesteak. It tastes better that way.
– Provolone cheese here is the best
– You can add various other things like raw onions and condiments at no additional cost
– Don’t miss the free pickle and pepper bar tucked into the back of the place

I can’t believe I paid this much money for this! The cheese steak tasted like it was reheated in the microwave and the french fries tasted days old. I ordered french fries with cheese sauce. The cheese sauce came in a small container. The french fries are not even edible because they are so hard and cold.

Great Philly Cheesesteak.
Second time eating here and two years later it still tastes great. Everyone enjoyed it. They cook em’ with the cheese melted in a Amoroso Roll which makes the bread nice and soft.
If I’m ever in Dana Point, this is a must.

One of the best cheesesteaks I’ve ever had! It was perfectly juicy and packed with flavor. We also ordered the cheesesteak fries and onion rings, and everything was absolutely amazing. Highly recommend this place!

Been going to this location for years and always enjoyed. But, it appears there was an ownership change and prices were raised significantly along with portions being reduced. Food quality also seemed to have deteriorated well below prior visits. With elevated prices PB is not a great value at >$70 for family of four. Unfortunately we won’t be returning (Jersey Mikes has higher quality and is a better value IMO).
