Such a warm, nostalgic place that instantly makes you feel at home. The food is incredible, fresh, full of flavor, and truly authentic. As a Mexican/American (chicano), I can honestly say this food comes from the heart and tastes like home.

The owner was so kind and welcoming, and hearing the history of the restaurant made the experience even more meaningful. The staff were friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making our visit special.

We will absolutely be back.

Decided to drive to Plant City to get out of the city. Found this place so gave it a try. We tried the tacos and another plate. The food had good taste just a little bit small. Overall recommend as the servers are very friendly.

Absolutely delicious! The service is great. We can’t get enough and have already been back several times. Wish it was busier, more people should know about this hidden gem. The food is fresh and definitely cooked to order. The birria tacos, papusas, and gorditas have been soo good!

Great service authentic Mexican food and great music I was feeling like at my grandparents house it’s a small restaurant but with great potential, You have to come with time cuz the food takes time, But honestly it’s worth it a 100% the wait. You wouldn’t regret to come and I am gonna come back with my whole family.

This was the first time my Dad and I have eaten at this restaurant! When we first entered we immediately noticed that the restaurant was super clean! We were greeted by Mary who was very upbeat! Then we were seated and taken care of by Sofia who was very positive and attentive! When it was time to check out we met Leticia who was kind! The whole experience was wonderful and the taste of the food was incredible (hats off to the chefs), so we will certainly be returning for more food! Thank you all!

Everything was absolutely amazing! My sister and I were looking for a new place to try and decided on this place and thank goodness we did! The barbacoa and Al pastor tacos were AMAZINGGGGG. Especially the barbacoa, I will definitely be coming back to get that again!
And shout out to the owners daughter! You made the experience even better, and the work you’ve done on the place is something you should truly be proud of!!

Came here after work one day. I zeroed in on the sopa de mariscos. It was fantastic. I could tell it was made fresh (and later confirmed it when the owner stopped by my table). In a word…authentic. You know the 5 different taste sensations: sour, sweet, salty, bitter and lastly Umami? This soup was off the charts with Umami. Highly recommend a visit.

Visited this establishment with my bff for the very first time yesterday (Monday) because it was conveniently located near the Strawberry Festival. When we arrived, there were only 2 families and one couple dining. I’m very sensitive sense of smell, so the very first thing I noticed was the unpleasant smell. It was worst in the ladies room. The place seemed immaculate but the smell was awful. We ordered 2 large Margaritas, which were delicious and the right amount of alcohol. I then ordered 2 fish tacos and my friend ordered 2 steak tacos. I took one bite of the tiny fish bites and I hat to immediately spit it out. I decided to take another bite with the tortilla and shred, had to spit it out again into a napkin. My friend’s steak taco was not bad, although the size of a babies hand. I waited almost half hour for the waitress to come back to ask her to exchange for the steak tacos, she never came back to check on us. I had to go up to the front desk and ring a bell to get her attention. Will never return here and do not recommend.
