Every bite of food was eaten. The ramen with shrimp, chicken and a soft boiled egg has a tasty broth. I must admit l loved hearing the chef say, “Ohayou gozaimasu” through a little window every time an order was ready. Of course the pork gyoza is delicious and I loved their take on a cucumber salad. It’s a bit chunky. The presentation is perfect. Ashley did a wonderful job answering all of my questions relating to my dietary needs. She’s very knowledgeable.

A large group of us came into this place august of 2025, some of our people even ate there the night before and returned the next day for more. Everyone seemed satisfied with their food and they took the groups allergies into account. Everything I ordered personally was very tasty. most things did not live long enough on the table to be able to capture them. Over all I would return if I were in the area again.

Rakkan Ramen at GardenWalk Anaheim is absolutely delicious. And trust me—we’re spoiled by Asian food in Vancouver, Canada, where some of the best Asian cuisine in the world can be found. This place truly delivers.
The ramen is rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Portions are generous, so make sure you come hungry—or order one to share. You’ll definitely want to finish every last drop. A must-visit spot if you’re in Anaheim!

Very delicious ramen, the broth was exceptional. We tried the Ruby, and Garent miso ramen. Both were so delicious! And the crispy pork gyoza was scrumptious. I went on Oct 3rd around noon, the young man who helped us was very pleasant and attentive! I will be back

The ramen is delicious and they use a vegetarian broth even for their meat ramens. The broth surprisingly captured that umami taste which you normally associate with meat based soups. Their sushi, however, was not up to the same standard. The rice was dry and the fish (salmon) tasted bland. The sushi felt like an afterthought. Ending on a positive note, the staff was amazing, just the right amount of attentiveness.

We love the soup base! It’s plant-based but has this surprising umami flavor with sweetness hint. It’s light and clear, quite different from the thick tonkatsu soup that most people would associate with Ramen, but so special and delicious in its own way. It took us some time to find where the store front is—located on the second floor of the mall.

My partner and I ordered the shrimp ramen, which the menu said would have a shrimp paste added to the broth but oof, was it shrimpy. It tasted like it was made with dried shrimp, which is a very concentrated shrimp flavor. It was too much, even for me having grown up with that flavor. All the toppings were also cold, which is unexpected for us. Is this normal at ramen places? I guess we’ve only been to ramen places that serve all food hot. I could only stomach the chicken & shrimp & a few bites of noodles; my partner had two bites and had to stop. And these were apparently the thick noodles. We expected thicker noodles given the description in the menu. Kids ramen had no meat or egg, just corn & noodles. Really lacking in toppings for the price.

10/10 experience!
I ordered the Hot Brussels Sprouts Salad, Chicken Karaage, Amber Ramen, and Spicy Garnet Ramen—all of them were absolutely delicious.
The Brussels sprouts were crispy, and dipping them in the sauce made them even better. The Chicken Karaage (forgot to take pictures!) was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Fried chicken is often too dry for my taste, but this was just right.
The Amber Ramen was light and refreshing with subtle seasoning, while the Spicy Garnet Ramen was rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. Both broths were amazing—it just depends on what you prefer!
The service was outstanding. The staff was professional, attentive, polite, and incredibly friendly. They took great care of us.
The restaurant itself has a cozy, clean, and stylish atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my Pearl bowl (Salt). The egg was a little over done for my taste, but I loved the bamboo shoots. Service was fast, and the staff were polite. Food was reasonably priced.

Stopped by for lunch on a Thursday around noon. It was very quiet, not busy but I’m sure it picks on the weekends. I definitely recommend the fried chicken dishes here, I had a craving and was so happy to see this place (had stopped by for a cafe event downstairs). The ramen dishes looked amazing too, though we were too stuffed to try anything else.
