Apparently they were too busy to make combination plates, however they have no eat in option. So they try to sell me individual items only, which caused me to query ” wouldn’t that be more expensive?” To their response, well ya. Be careful ordering from here. I will eat elsewhere from now on.

We ordered almost $300 of food for take out. When we got home (which is a 30 minute drive) we were disappointed to find that many items had been missing. We were treated horribly when called looking for a solution to the situation. They said we could drive back to get the items or not. Zero compensation offered. To our shock, after being very rude, they hung the phone up on us. Very disappointed and will not be going back.

Terrible service. We ordered over $250 of food. Several things were missing when we got home. Ruined our Father’s Day dinner. And they refused to give any compensation for us having to drive twenty minutes each way to pick up the missing items. They were extremely rude about it. Definitely do NOT recommend!!!

The food here is really flavourful and delicious. Probably the best of the 4 Chinese restaurants in Kenora. I ordered pickup and had to wait for 10 minutes after I was told to arrive, but the restaurant made the wait worth it. This is the only reason I haven’t given 5/5 stars. Worth the detour, worth the wait, and worth checking out. If you like Chinese food you’ll really appreciate what Timber Garden brings to the City of Kenora.

I’ve had a lot of Chinese food in my life, were from BC and this was no joke, the best Chinese I have ever had. Great flavours! Even the fried rice dishes were so good! Anyone staying at the Timberland Inn should build this into their meal plans.

Not a real Chinese resto… Staff don’t even know how to speak Chinese language. (Or they refuse to?) Although it’s not a mandatory for “Chinese” restaurant, this is my first time to encounter one that doesn’t speak any at all, which gives an uncomfortable feeling that they are sharing the fame of Chinese cuisine without making real Chinese food. Later on the dish looked more that way. Highly doubt what food it’s cooked. Doesn’t even have napkin hygiene standards might meet some expectation/stereotype to Chinese restaurants
