Enjoyed two nights at Buffalo Lodge. The best part of our stay was taking in the atmosphere at the Bar and grill was fantastic.

We had dinner here two times. Great service and the food was very good. Their specialty is BBQ. It is a bit pricey but portions are big and you can share.

A complete ripoff! $30 plus tax and tips per person for a standard breakfast buffet. What a terribly exploitative move. Yes it’s a remote town and you may be the only option for folks staying here (many in a rush, with tours scheduled) for breakfast, but it’s just such a pity how blatantly greedy this upcharge is.

This restaurant is built into the hillside as part of Denali Bluffs Hotel. Food was delicious after a long drive into the park and a little walk to get to this place from our hotel. Our server Brandon was a delight with bright comments, suggestions and refills of “clean mountain water.”
Our table had a pair of binoculars for searching the mountain and area, the kids entertained themselves viewing the area with those.
Food was delicious and served quite quickly, the boys got “mountaineer burgers” and hubby got a salmon burger. I got the garden salad with salmon, ranch dressing. It had a great variety of veggiesincluded and the salmonwas quite good.
The boys then devoured the dessert cookie skillet with moosetracks ice cream.

This place is outstanding. The service was top notch and everything our family ordered was amazing. The Brussels sprouts were the best I’ve ever had. Same for the coconut shrimp. The bbq sauce on the wings was outstanding. Pasta, burgers, also great. I hope I’m not overselling it but we had a great experience and we weren’t even staying at the hotel. It was very comfortable in a place that doesn’t offer a lot of comfort.

Fernando was lovely and attentive as were the other staff. Food was delicious—I highly recommend the Brussels and the Spinach dip. Both were the best I’ve had in a very long time. The only thing that would make their delicious, juicy, smoked wings better is if they made their ranch in house. Cozy atmosphere

We were a little hesitant after reading the reviews here. We were staying on site which is the primary reason to eat here. Service was awfully slow. Took almost 20 minutes for our waiter to come over and bring us waters. Food was surprisingly good. We had appetizers – coconut shrimp which was very good and spinach artichoke dip which was a little “spinach forward” but very good. Excellent drink menu including many local-ish beers on tap. You could eat here. It would leave you full! Views are stunning!

Food was excellent with large servings, very fresh and full of flavor, wait staff, personable, and helpful With suggestions. It was a pleasant surprise for a small little place and even enjoyed acoustic music on the porch with drinks. The brussels sprouts were especially a hit at our table.

Nice location and views to the mountains. Ate here twice for convenience. We had the Alaskan salmon special and salmon chowder one day. It was very good, somewhat overcooked but very good flavor and presentation. Following day just had a regular burger and a veggie burger, they were just OK. The menu is strange, most are BBQ plates (strange to have BBQ in Alaska), nachos, wings, burgers and that’s it, short menu and not very inviting. Not many wine options and the one we picked they didnt have. Service was OK. Better menu and bar could make this a very good place.
