Have driven past here at least a dozen times in the last few years and have told myself I should stop here sometime. So one day I was out riding my motorcycle and decided to come here for a cup of coffee and maybe a pastry. Very friendly folks and customers too. Everything is just like I expected to find. These little gems are a well kept secret in most communities. Every one eating looked like they were really enjoying their food. Most booths were full as well as counter seats. So, I got my cup of coffee and was given a free cupcake. Really wanted to eat a whole meal, but had a late breakfast and I hate to waste food if I can’t finish it. They are open for dinner on Monday evenings only, so will go back for that. Saw some interesting food items on the marker board. Yummy, yum. Will update this post after a real meal.

Had a great time at Fat Ted’s diner. We sat at the counter and had the breakfast casserole that is only served on weekends. It was excellent. The service was great and waitresses loved joking with the customers/ regulars. We will definitely be back when we are in the neighborhood again. Prices were great as well

Food was tasty, however, Sausage gravy and biscuits were cold. Had to ask twice for hot sauce and jelly. Never did get the jelly so I didn’t eat the toast.

We stopped there the day after Thanksgiving. We are from WV . The lady told us to get something off the board. And it was all free. The food was great. So we had to leave a 50$ dollars for the good there doing for the community. Thanks to doing that for people.

Our family was looking for a restaurant to eat lunch at on our way home. We saw the reviews and price point for Fat Ted’s and chose to give it a try. We were all happy with our choices and the prices were reasonable. My food was so good. I ordered the country fried steak with mashed potatoes and the white gravy and the green beans. Very fresh tasting and delicious. Would definitely recommend. If we are in the area again we will be back.
