My father and I stopped down here last week after people had been recommending them to me for years and it was well worth the wait! Drinks were strong, service was great, all food was made to order and it was phenomenal! They easily have the best wings in New Haven. Its not close! The dinner menu is very well done and the Ole Charleston was insane good! 10/10

Unsure how to even begin. Dangles Bar is a 10/10 without question, from the fresh food all the way to the atmosphere. We came here for one drink, and left 5 drinks later with a full stomach. The wings (with dang sauce) are the best wings, without a doubt, I’ve ever had. The salad (which I don’t usually love salads) was as well the best salad I’ve ever had. There is not a single complaint I could even try to make. This place has made me a weekly customer, without a doubt. Can’t wait for my next visit, next week, to try the rest of the menu. Dangles, you outdid yourselves.

First time visiting Dangle’s but not the last! Service was great, drinks were strong, (Mango Long Island!) got naked wings, shrimp, steak rolls and sliders…everything made fresh to order which is great! James is a great guy! We ordered naked wings and later found out we were missing out on the “Dangle’s” flavored wings and he brought out some to try! Very welcoming and the type of service that makes you wanna come back! Also black owned business with chill vibes and good music playing overhead! 99 cent wings on Sat and Sun are a must have. They pretty much make any style wing you like! Try them!

My family and I stumbled on Dangles after some shopping locally. The bartender/ waiter/owner and who I can only assume was also the person who created the menu was so welcoming. He turned the tv on to a movie my kids would enjoy. He had lots of suggestions on what to order and talked us into wings, which we don’t typically get. They were spicy honey wings. Let me tell you, they were tasty! The crisp was amazing, perfect amount of sauce. Delish! He also talked me into the chicken salad, which he indicated comes as a grilled full head of lettuce. ALSO amazing! It was such a friendly and welcoming experience with very good food. Would recommend for sure.

Thought it was closed when we first went but the owner quickly opened the door and let us know that he was just cleaning the floors haha. We had the place to ourselves and the owner was friendly and inviting. The food was made fresh and both burgers were delicious. Would recommend and will definitely come again! (We had the 259 Orange burger and the Jolly Dangles burger)

A semi hidden gem in New Haven! Both the food and service were excellent for our birthday dinner, party of three. The owner, who is also the chef, greeted us and took his time discussing the delicious menu items. He told us that nothing is pre-made, everything is made from scratch. Where in Connecticut can you find that? We started with a draft beer, a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon and an alcoholic raspberry lemonade which was so good our son ordered a second one. For starters we ordered the Wild Cauliflower (Tempura batter, cauliflower floret, Aleppo pepper, warm bleu cheese, and shaven cucumber). And for the main course we had two orders of the 259 Orange burgers (Short rib and chuck patty, provolone, fried egg, bacon strips, avocado, lettuce) and the Griddled Romain (grilled romaine, shaved Parmesan, crisp corn, vine ripe tomatoes, Caesar, balsamic, drizzle, hormone free chicken and tortilla strips. The food was 10/10, delicious. The total bill without tip was $85. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Tried this restaurant for the first time and the food was fantastic. The Banging Twisted shrimp was cooked to perfection and the sauce was great. The Cheesesteak roll was super flavorful and cooked to perfection. I also had the Haven sliders but ate them before I could take a picture. The onions were grilled well and burgers juicy.

Visited this last Saturday with my brother and close friend. The vibe here was great, real cozy environment, good music, and great food. Prices were very fair and even met the owner, great guy. I had a Nashville hot chicken style sandwich with fried plaintains that were out of this world. This place should be your next spot, definitely worth a try. Going back this weekend

I have reviewed several places for burgers but this location is the current leader.
The dang’s wing sauce is a must try! If you’ve ever had Bonchon the wings here are straight up better. They were crunchy, rich, and full of flavor
The burgers were mouthwatering and the aroma they gave out with each but was unbelievable.
James was single-handedly running the place but still giving great service and amazing food.
I can’t believe I just heard of this place, it’s the definition of a hidden gem.
