We brought some chips and burger. The burger was sooo good! Sauce was perfect and the crispy buns with the smashed beef patties was just perfection! If your hungry for a burger in Russel definitely recommend! Chips were also really nice and tasty.

Absolutely fantastic food here. Must try. Young boy taking our order was very knowledgeable about the food available and super friendly. The bite into the burger of the day was amazing. Fish and chips were spot on. The value for money and quality is highly recommend and not a tourist trap. A genuinely must try. Tried Mangonui Fish and Chips the day prior and was absolutely horrible. Russell Fish Co was a great relief.

Had the chicken burger and it was outstanding. Juicy, full of flavour, and cooked perfectly — not dry or greasy, just spot on. Fresh bun, generous fillings, and everything balanced really well.

Most friendly staff, love the snapper wrap w picklenaise. Loved the prawn cocktail special, bring it back!!! Very generous chips serve, always fresh.

Best fish and chips. Ordered the garlic butter chips, 2 pieces of terakihi and it was delicious. A little on the expensive side however also very much worth it. Better than the mangonui fish and chips for sure

Certainly very good quality, good sizes and good value for money though more expensive then just $20 for fish n chips…. Get your food and head to the waterside – try to ignore all the seagulls and ducks showing an interest in your food too. Highly recommend, no need to look elsewhere.

The fish and chips here is an amazing experience with all the fresh and ingredients, fresh and very tasty. The squid rings and the garlic fries were my favorite and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a genuine kiwi fish and chip experience

Actually we stumbled across this small outlet by chance and we’re positively surprised by the great quality of the fish & chips and salt and pepper squid – really well done and one of the best fish and chips we ever had – and we had many not only in NZ but on our global tour.
So grab some great food and sit on the benches or on the beach just steps away and enjoy life.

Very nice fish and chips, probably up there with the best I’ve ever had! Beer batter was nice and crispy, fish was very fresh, mussels were beautiful. Shop made tartare sauce too, what an awesome place! My wife and son had some epic burgers too.
