We went here on our way to Crested Butte. Our 8 and 11 year old boys LOVED it! Great ribs, sausage, chicken…but the pulled pork was the BEST! If you enjoy South Carolina BBQ style, stop in! Very nice woman at the counter who greeted us and made suggestions. Fast and friendly service. We will stop again for sure!

love this place, and I’m picky. Top choices are smoked sausage…not too spicy, excellent flavor, ribs…cooked well, not over done, and pulled pork…super moist, in a great light vinegar sauce. different, and very good.
they don’t overdo the bbq sauce… that’s important for good Q.
I’m not a fan of their slaw. but good tater salad.

Only Reason I am giving only 4 stars is that the BBQ is not the Sweet Texas Style that I love, this is along the lines of the more vinegar-based type of BBQ, and if you like this style, you will love it!
The place is small, quaint, right of the road so you can’t miss it, and you’ll meet locals if you’re here around lunch time. The owners are amazingly friendly and will strike up a conversation with you and make you feel right at home!

BBQ pork was excellent. Ribs were on point. We stopped on the drive from Montrose to Denver. Perfect place for a stop. Really quick food and really tasty. 31$ for the family platter with drinks. That included 2 meat choices, a sausage link and 3 sides. We had corn, potato salad and tomato slices. It was all very tasty.

What a hidden gem!! The family that owns this place have a great restaurant and even better personalities! My friend and I got the ribs with 2 sides each-great flavor. Everything is made in house! For a girl who is from Texas, I have to say….two thumbs up!! Oh and if they serve peach pie, get it with the cinnamon ice cream on top!! Be expected to leave with a full belly and possible food coma!!!

Ribs were great; could be cooked a little slower for more tenderness, but the flavor is on point. Pulled pork was fine. Their sauce might be the best mustard sauces I’ve ever had. I’ll be back for more sausage and to try the chicken with some of that sauce.

Well it may look like just another BBQ shack on the road side, but beware, this is the GEM you have been searching for. Really, when you taste the greens, I am talking about the greens, there is a symphony of flavors going on in your mouth. And ask about how they are made and it is amazing all the steps and part she puts together to make what i am sure are the finest greens on the planet! The BBQ is excellent and made to order. I wish this place was closer, I would be a real regular, real regular! Stop and enjoy this one, it is on the unique side of life.
