I ordered a custom cake for a graduation party and was charged $65. When I opened the box I was extremely disappointed as the writing was very sloppy and part of the icing was missing. I expected much more for a $65 cake. I emailed the bakery but so far have received no answer. I’m just bummed because I wanted to support a local bakery.

Update: I never got an email response and it’s been a month. Very disappointing.

I came here over the summer with my dog and husband, and for months I’ve been reflecting on the stellar service. Everyone who served us was incredibly kind. We ate outside on their picnic table, and someone came out shortly after we sat down with a fresh bowl of water for our dog. The food was also great! I loved the inclusive environment and particularly loved knowing that we were supporting an establishment that works hard to be a safe and inclusive place. Thanks for what you for the community!

As a former Easter coaster, I can safely i say that I had my best breakfast sandwich in a while from here. My mocha was delicious, the customer service was great, and I loved all the Valentine’s Day decorations:) I highly recommend coming here ❤️

Strange place. No one says hi, food was mediocre, service seemed like they didn’t want us there, no hello, or check in or smiles or any thing of warmth at all. Not a place to bring children. I won’t go back, the concept for a SA survivor could be triggering.

Just to get it out of the way, the only thing shaped like dog treats at Bolt and Bruizer’s is the.. dog treats. All the human food looks like human food! There is an adorable bone shaped biscuit served with the biscuits and gravy.

I also want to say it’s not “woke” as some reviewer said to proudly display you, your life, and what is important to you. Nothing is virtue signalling here, it’s all authentic representation of the owners!

I met these guys down at the farmer’s market 2 years ago selling some of their baked goods, and decided to stop by before leaving town. At the time it was just the bakery, but the glass cases had delectable looking pastries, some unique, and many that taste amazing.

A few days ago I returned again and was surprised and pleased to see they’ve expanded their space with a cafe dining area. We decided to have breakfast there and it was a wonderful experience with Bruizer spending a lot of time at our table chatting and being friendly. The vibe here is chill and casual, and sometimes the food or service takes a little longer than a diner or breakfast restaurant. To me, and to many others, that’s the charm. It’s a slowed down experience and take the time to enjoy the space, the people, and the cool art on the walls!

This is an LGBTQIA+ safe space and says so on the outside very clearly. My experience here as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community was comfortable, secure, and lovely.

Pastry recommendations: Pane (especially the Mousse one, but both are delicious!), assorted cookies, Berry Bomb (I can’t remember if that’s the actual name but it’s one of their signatures). It was delicious with fresh berries and lemon curd.

Constructive Criticism for the owners (sent with love and care!!): the I tried 2 Berry Bombs, the first one was a little weak on the lemon curd flavor, and the second one had a much more powerful flavor. Can’t comment on why exactly, but for me at least the lemon punch is one of the main stars of that pastry.

Love this place, please come and support local Missoula and Grizz business as well as the LGBTQIA+ community. See you again soon Bolt and Bruizer!

Ordered a custom made dairy free cake from them for our daughter’s birthday. Was probably the best cake we have ever had. Will definitely be ordering from here every birthday.

Food is not excellent, underwhelming for the price. Only a few gluten free pastries, and the zucchini bread must have been messed up, as it tasted like a cup of nutmeg, weird consistency and looked like a dog treat. The server didn’t use a notepad and messed up our order.

That being said, the vibes are vibing here. The server refunded the zucchini bread.
Very cool looking place, friendly staff and the non-gf pastries look great!

I’ve actually not had any of the products here but I wanted to give a shout out to Bruizer himself! I called in a panic the other day because I was making a wedding cake for a friend and my layers were dry. He told.me exactly what to do to save them and not have to bake them again. Everyone loved the cake and you really saved the day! THANK YOU for your kindness and time!
