The food was tasty and the hostess was attentive.
The main downside was the change to the happy hour menu. Compared to the previous happy hour, prices have gone up, and when compared to the regular menu, the value no longer stands out. Portions are smaller for essentially the same price. For example, the regular menu offers 3 tacos for $15, while the happy hour menu includes 2 tacos for $10, making the per-item cost nearly the same but with less food.
Because of this, the happy hour menu doesn’t feel like much of a deal anymore and doesn’t offer the value it used to. Food and service were solid, but the updated happy hour menu was disappointing.

I usually never leave reviews but I felt that this place absolutely needed one. I was a little nervous since it was my first time eating here. One of the people working had recommended the Birria Quesadilla and when I got it, it looked amazing and it tasted even better. It was so good I had to slowly take the time to savor it. The customer service was great. The people were kind and the food came out very quick. I will definitely be coming here again. I regret not getting dessert it looked so good but I was so full! Will definitely be returning Amazing!

I was excited to go to a New Mexican restarant near washington square. We arrived around 6:20pm. We ordered off Birria burrito and steak enchiladas with a blue Hawaiian and a mango margaritas.
The Birria burrito was good but lacked any sides. It had a tasty dipping sauce. The steak enchilada dish was disappointing. The rice and beans were cold and bland. My steak enchiladas was actually a cheese enchiladas with steak and green sauce spread on top. Nothing else was inside my tortilla. The green sauce was a little too acidic.
Our drinks were very contrasting The blue Hawaiian was strong with two shots of rum. While my margaritas which ended up being a happy hour special tasted flavorful but lacked a kick of tequila.
Our service was great at the start but went downhill as the dinner progressed. We waited 10-15 minutes trying to get our bill with only a few tables with customers. We also did not get the happy hour menu 4-7pm so would could have ordered off of that menu but wasn’t told or provided any HH menus. See my picture for HH menu.
The decor was nice with some Mexican themed murals with some music in the background. The entire restaurant was very clean and well kept. There was a steady stream of to go orders being picked up and even 2-3 police officers picking up take away dinners.
I was extremely disappointed with dinner but I would give DBB&B another chance. Try it out and let me know how yours turned out.

Super glad I came here. They gave us chips & dip when we first walked in. We were given 2 dipping sauces. Both were delicious. One was super spicy though. I ordered steak, shrimp, chicken & bacon mixed with peppers & onions. It came with beans, rice & tortilla wraps. It was soooooooooo good! I definitely recommend this place & I will for sure be back.

I order delivery from here semi frequently. While the food is consistently good, most of my orders are usually missing items or I’ll just receive the wrong order.
Today I received the wrong order because there was no receipt attached to the bag before multiple orders were given to the driver. It should not be hard to staple a receipt onto a bag. I can’t recommend this place for delivery.

Don Barriga Mexican Grill is a very cozy Mexican restaurant in center city Philadelphia. This location is their second location in Philadelphia and they recently opened it.
My friend and I went there for lunch and we both loved the food. He ordered Alambre Don Barriga and I ordered Ribeye Steak. His main course came with rice, beans and avocado. My main course served with rice, beans and a side of guacamole, grilled cactus, fresh cheese and two green enchiladas. The food was just excellent and very tasty. Everything was extremely fresh and their portions were great too. We both got tiramisu for dessert and easily I can say it was one of the best tiramisu I’ve ever had in my life.
Our servers Bryan and Kevin were extremely helpful and friendly. They were both attentive and very kind people. The restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was relaxing. The music was great, but it was a little bit loud. Their prices were very reasonable too.
I will definitely try their other foods soon. I highly recommend this new Mexican restaurant.

Chipotle burrito was amazing. My whole party enjoyed their meals well. Most burritos have different flavor bites, but this one was homogenous throughout. 10/10

This place is a favorite go-to for lunch. The food here is consistently delicious and you don’t wait very long, which is great when on a lunch break. I have tried all their soups, several sandwiches, and other dishes. It’s honestly all good. They provide homemade tortillas on the house with salsa dips. My favorite dish currently is the Alambre dish with chicken. It’s big enough that I eat some and take the rest home for dinner later. The tacos are also so good!!
I’ve had the pleasure of seeing them grow from when they first opened a year or so ago. Now they offer alcohol drinks and tasty desserts.
The atmosphere is delightful. It’s bright and airy inside, with beautiful artwork on the walls. The servers are so friendly and attentive. I really do enjoy visiting this place! I think it would be great for an outing with friends or a date night. Stop in, you won’t regret it!

Best salsera Verde and roja we have ever tried. We are driving thru Philadelphia and came across this by reading the reviews. It’s definitely a place to try. Prices as well are very affordable for the food quality and service. Highly recommend overall.
