Need one closer to St. Clair Shores. Seen this place online & had to make the drive to taste the Italian Sandwich. Had no idea it was in a gas station. I was a bit worried when I picked up. They seem to manage with the open space. Pizza slices were fresh. Staff was friendly.
The Italian stack – asked for the dressing on the side since I had a drive back home. Not sure what caused the bottom of it to get soggy anyways. Over all it’s really good. Bread taste just like a calzone. Basically, an Italian calzone. Fresh lettuce and fresh Tomato. One half did have piece that should’ve been tossed.
Sliced pizza – my son loved the Pepperoni and cheese slice. I wasn’t a huge fan. Crust is a waste and the sauce tasted more Marinara like, but that’s more of preference for me. The double slice with meat was really tasty. Similar to a Chicago style pizza.
Overall Satisfied. I doubt I’ll go out of my way again. Maybe check out the royal oak location next time I visit the zoo.

Stacks sandwich was huge feeds 2 people and delicious, the Cordials feeds 4 people and huge n delicious . Had the Deluxe Italian , BBQ Chicken Cordial and Brussel sprouts were amazing crisp and seasoned highly recommended if your in the area …even sampled a slice of pepperoni was good.

I ordered takeout from stacks and cordials after seeing a review on chow down Detroit and have to say this was THE BEST SANDWICH I’VE EVER HAD!!! I got the Italian stack with extra cheese, oil and vinegar dressing, and cordial bread and was blown away. The cheese bread with the crispy crust along with the meat selection, lettuce and dressing was phenomenal. Food was ready on time as well.

As soon as I heard this place makes their own bread dough fresh, never frozen, we had to try it and so happy we did! We ordered 2 suicide stack sandwiches, well done and a fiesta combo. One sandwich we added parmesan bread topping. Everything was incredible. The sandwich bread was so fresh, crispy and baked perfectly. Sandwich ingredients were very flavorful, fresh, cajun turkey was not overpowering and so tasty. The chicken that came with the fiesta combo is tossed in the most delicious sweet and savory sauce (not buffalo, better). French fries were seasoned well too. Love seeing a local private owned food business and this place is doing things so right Update: We’ve tried the “Small Suicide Cordial”, and it was amazing. If you enjoy a good cheese bread and sandwich combo, you will enjoy this creation.

We ordered the Italian Stack, Cordial Sandwiches, and Fiesta Bites online—arrived 30 minutes later, only to wait another full hour in a gas station with no seating, no updates, and no option to cancel. The concept is unapologetically what it is (sandwich shop inside a servo), and the food? Genuinely good. Fresh ingredients, solid flavour, and the cheese-baked bread had real potential (if only it had stayed hot). But by the time we ate, the magic had cooled—and so had we. The concept is bold, the execution… a little scrambled. If you’re feeling patient, give it a go. Just know, we left with our feathers a little ruffled.

I heard about stacks and cordials on a local food review page. WOW, is all I have to say! I had to try the stack, cordial, and wings. All of them were phenomenal. The cordial is huge! It’s definitely meant for 2+ people. Will be back, and probably sooner than my diet wants me to. Takeout only here, no problem for foodies.
I recommend the Italian cordial, that is what I’ll be ordering when I come back again!
