We are a family owned Taproom & Bottle Shop located in Clarendon Hills, Illinois. 20 rotating draft lines dedicated to Micro Beer, Wine, Cider, Mead and Seltzer. We also sale package to go. And have a vast selection of local craft beer, wine, mead and cider and spirits. Also a vast selection of non alcoholic offerings. And gluten free options. We have some hand select cocktails, beer slushies, wine slushies, and non alcoholic slushies. We have a crowler machine for your take home draft beer needs. We are pet and kid friendly. We have a nice selection of board games. Cozy outdoor seating in the front of our store as well. Local restaurant menus are available in our store or feel free to bring your own food with you. Everyone is welcome!

I frequent the Open Door 1-3 times a month. I love the easy going friendly neighborhood feeling inside the place.
It’s just a great little local hang out!
Mixologist’s Tanya and Alyssa are very skilled and pour classic martinis, fancy foo foo drinks, and good ol fashioned beers!
The Open Door also has a large selection of package liquor and tons of quality wines on hand.
Reasonably priced drinks, food is available, and a fun welcoming atmosphere makes the Open Door a winner!

Bar and liquor store combo with a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a great selection of whiskey and beer.
We had our rehearsal dinner there, and it was exactly what we wanted. Very much our style. Saved us a bunch of money doing it there vs our other options. And the nice thing was that we were able to cater whatever food we wanted there.
We also got the spirits for our wedding through them. They had the best prices from everything we vetted, and we were able to return all the unopened bottles that were leftover after the event.
Thanks again to Dillon, the owner, who is a really nice guy!

There is something for everyone at The Open Door. They are kid and animal friendly. They do not have a huge food menu (cheese plates and snacks) but you can bring in your own food and have a drink (or two ) from their place. They’ve got spirits that make wonderful cocktails, tasty craft beer/ciders/sours/stouts on tap, an awesome variety of bourbons, a huge selection of wines, slushies, barrel poured Manhattan, Old Fashioned and Tequila old fashioned. They have Mocktails, pop, juice, sparkling waters and non alcoholic beers/wines and slushies for the NA drinkers. Stay and have a drink or go in and buy your favorite wine, sprit or beer to go. The cool thing about the open door is that you don’t have to buy a full 4 pack. You can mix and match, you can buy the beers/sours/ciders/stouts etc by the can/bottle. To name a few breweries product they sell…they’ve got Goldfinger, Hop Butcher, Phase Three, Energy City, Karetas, Pipeworks, Bourbon County, Riggs, Manic and more. They have inside and outside seating and they have live music. Check out their Facebook page or Instagram. They post new product when they get it in and keep you posted on events ie; live music, tastings, festivals etc. The staff is happy to help you if you have any questions. It’s a great place to visit. Go and check it out, you will NOT be disappointed. It’s a FIVE STAR PLACE!!

This establishment is a wonderful addition to downtown Clarendon Hills. They offer a wide variety of cocktails, wonderful selection of wine by the glass or bottle and extensive beer menu.
The owner and staff here are so friendly and welcoming. It is the perfect place to enjoy an outdoor beverage.

Glad i found them online thru the curious elixir website. The only place near buy that carries a special brand of non alcoholic adaptogen drinks . They were very friendly and accommodating and fast to responding to my emails. Glad to see a place that carries non alcoholic drinks for people trying to live sober lifestyle. This is my new place . Finally there is a nice place opened in downtown Clarendon Hills. It’s called Open Door . It’s very nice and brand new bar. The bartenders are very nice too. Steve is the best.

It was my second day in Chicago coming from India. I forget the bartender’s name, the lady was so friendly and kind (I remember now, it was Laura). I had a great time over there, such nice vibes. My international card didn’t work over there, so I offered to leave my id and stuff. She said no need, she trusted me…love you for that…There was this gentleman who offered to pay for me, and even after my attempts to dissuade, did pay. They were so accommodating and friendly, I love you guys… thanks. I’ll be back someday and meet you guys again…all the best wishes… this is Amit… I meant to come back but couldn’t…drinks were awesome… people were super awesome
