Beautiful restaurant set inside a historic house in 4th Ward. It took a while for us to get a weekend reservation around 7p when we usually have dinner (since they only accept reservations 2 weeks in advance and they’re very popular being the new kid on the block). Having said that, it was worth the wait! The house, as noted, is super cool inside and decorated very nicely for the holidays. Our food was delicious. The pasta was cooked perfectly and portioned appropriately. The bread service was great and our appetizer salad was light and fresh. We received a nice amuse-bouche prior to our pasta as well. We capped off dinner with a couple cocktails and their bread pudding which was so good! We’re already planning to go back with friends as long as we can get a reservation!

I conflicted on the rating here. The food was good, but not amazing. The ambiance was great, but the parking was frustrating. Our server was great, but the host rudely telling us our table was needed in the next 10 minutes left us with whiplash. We won’t be back.
Two of us were early but our third couldn’t find parking for a full 15 minutes. Regardless of that, within 5 minutes of our reservation time we ordered the chef’s tasting menu for the table. We tried many good dishes but were confused when the pasta course came out with only 2 options on 3 plates. Seems like an easy thing either make 3 options or just reduce it to 2 plates. Dessert was the same for all 3 of us as well when we would have much preferred 3 different items to taste.
The coursing was steady and we weren’t slow to eat. We paid our bill promptly when it was given and were just finishing up our drinks when the hostess came up and said “We need this table in the next 10 minutes.” The issue wasn’t that the table was needed, it was the manner it was conveyed, especially since we didn’t determine the pacing of the meal. She was brusque and this interaction left us all reeling.
TLDR: Don’t go unless you can uber or you won’t be there in time for your reservation. Don’t expect kindness when they’re conveying the time restraints. Don’t expect variety in the chefs tasting menu.

Fantastic farm-to-table spot in Charlotte! The rotating menu is super fresh and everything we tried was amazing. The focaccia with whipped ricotta was perfect and the French toast appetizer was such a unique take on French toast. Both the pork shoulder and Penne Della Cotta were flavorful and cooked beautifully.

Everything about our experience was first class! We absolutely loved every single dish and especially loved how attentive the staff was – down to walking us through each dish in detail. They were also extremely accommodating of my gluten allergy – essentially every pasta could be made gluten free with their homemade noodles! Will definitely be back

VERY impressed with Spaghett. They have a dynamic menu with locally farmed food and tons of delicious options. Very skilled blend of Italian and southern influences. Delicious cocktails and very kind and knowledgeable service. Definitely make a reservation as the restaurant is inside a beautiful historic home which isn’t the most spacious but makes for a great ambiance.

We loved everything about our anniversary dinner at Spaghett. We ordered the beef carpaccio, spinach canaderli, strozzapreti, cacio e Pepe, Texas redfish, beef strip loin, chocolate dessert, and olive oil cake. Portions were not overwhelming, but we left full. They also had the entire staff sign a card for us. Fantastic service, food, and atmosphere!

This place really checks all the boxes. The food was fantastic, the cocktails were truly impressive. Especially the Venetian Bloom, which was one of the best drinks I’ve had in a long time. The desserts were the perfect finishing touch. The service was warm, attentive, and added to the overall experience. I also love that it’s set in a beautiful historic home. Growing up in a historic town myself, it’s something I really appreciated about Spaghett. The whole experience felt thoughtful and well-executed. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone.

We had an awesome time at Spaghett and truly loved all the food & drinks we had. We did the Supper at Spaghett offered on Sundays & Mondays where all 4 courses are chosen by the chef. We enjoyed each dish!! Delicious cocktails as well. We will definitely be back! So excited about this new addition to the Charlotte food scene!

Spaghett is an incredible new spot from Chef Sam Hart (of Counter fame), and it absolutely lives up to the hype. The complimentary focaccia is addictive—we ordered it twice more with the eggplant and mustard dips. Every pasta we tried was outstanding, especially the deconstructed lasagna and the bright, fresh Lumache. The French toast appetizer with carbonara sauce was a sweet-savory dream and the flat iron steak was perfectly cooked with flavorful sides.
Portions are on the smaller side but priced right, and the drink menu is creative and fun (don’t skip the High Life with Aperol and lemon). Service was truly top-notch—shoutout to our server Jade, manager Derek, and the lovely Renee.
The menu changes often, which just gives us more reason to come back. Charlotte, this one’s a gem.
