I’m a taco fanatic and I’m always having tacos on Taco Tuesday and this place is actually really good! Not bad at all! I’d come back again. I got tacos de asada, pollo & al pastor. Good flavored meat and almost taste like homemade corn tortilla. Yummy!

All of this the food is incredible! We can’t wait to go back and try more. The Al Pastor tacos and Carne Asada Fries were phenomenal. Actually tender steak/asada. Do not skip the sauce bar either.

We loved our experience at Salt City Taco. The atmosphere is amazing, the cutest graphic design (my kids loved that the taco man was dancing on the screens), it was super clean, and the food was so so good. Think “The Taco Stand” in California type of food. My husband had the California burrito and said it was the best he’s ever had. I had the carne asada taco and it was delicious. They make the tortillas from scratch! They also had this amazing sauce you could get on the side that was similar to cafe rio’s cilantro avocado dressing, but better. My favorite thing though were the churros. I’m super picky when it comes to churros, and these were perfection. We will definitely be coming back soon.

Super yummy! I was so impressed by how they handled their very first day. They’re killing it! Tacos and quesadilla were both great. We’ll be back!

Don’t think this is your new Cafe Rio or standard trendy restaurant. One of the owners Patricio has been whipping up some of the best Mexican food from a well-known food truck and switched to open this new restaurant!
This has to be some of the best Mexican food I have had in Utah. And that’s compared to some of the more popular taco stands and restaurants. The pollo burrito was amazing, the Pollo/Al pastor tacos were a great size with great flavor. Patricio absolutely knows what he is doing in the kitchen. From one burrito I was extremely full so portion sizes for the price are awesome.
I would go give this place a try. We will be back for sure.

We came for the soft opening and left with the happiest bellies. The al pastor tacos were our favorite. The churros are an absolute must! They did such a great job cleaning tables as soon as people left too. We will be back!

Today I got take out from the newest restaurant in Academy Village. It was fabulous! The al pastore taco was fabulous but all 3 were. Wish I could leave a picture but the tacos were definitely delicious. All very fresh and made to order.

The food was AMAZING! We had the al pastor, carne asada, Mahi Mahi tacos, and the steak and shrimp burrito. Everything was top-notch and the servings were extremely generous! Great salsa! This will be a frequent place for us to eat for sure!
