This place is truly something worth the trip. There is a gift shop and plenty to look at and explore. The restaurant is the real gem. The menu is as massive as the portions, and everything that we had was divine. The fried pickles and their parmesan peppercorn sauce surprised us. The breading was light and tasty, and the sauce was an incredible pairing. Then there is the bread, a soft sourdough mini loaf served in a flower pot with whipped butter and their special strawberry butter. The strawberry butter is light and refreshing and not cloying or artificial. Moving to entrees, the Beef and Chicken Oscar dishes were incredibly well executed. The steak was cooked perfectly and the chicken was juicy and well seasoned. The loaded mashed potatoes were the best either of us had tried, and the spinach salads were wonderfully fresh with an insanely good hot bacon dressing. Finally, our service was the topping on this experience. Tabitha and Jen (otherwise known as ‘Gin and Juice’ were a fantastic duo full of mirth and competence and kept everything well refilled and timed. We will definitely be back.

Outstanding food! I had the House Specialty Pork Chop and it was the best I’ve ever had! We ordered appetizers, entrees and desserts and each were flawless! The atmosphere was beautifully done with a warm home feel. The only reason the service received 4 stars is the service was very slow to start, however once we did get our drink orders in everything flowed to the table precisely on time.
Lots of great one of a kind shops are located on site in the “village” around the restaurant. We drove 4 hours each way to try this place and I will without hesitation travel there again.

Patty’s Settlement Restaurant is one of those rare places where everything feels a little bit special. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a cozy, charming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The décor is whimsical yet inviting, and it perfectly sets the tone for the unforgettable meal that follows.
The food? Absolutely outstanding. Every dish is crafted with care, bursting with flavor, and served with the kind of presentation that shows pride and heart. Whether it’s their home-style classics or signature specialties, you can taste the freshness and attention to detail in every bite.
The service is equally impressive. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure your visit is perfect. They’re quick with a smile, helpful with recommendations, and make you feel like a valued guest rather than just another table.
Patty’s Settlement Restaurant doesn’t just serve a meal; it delivers an experience. It’s the kind of place where memories are made—perfect for a special night out, a family gathering, or simply treating yourself to something wonderful.
If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out. Highly recommended! ✨

Liked: pork chop, meringue pie, walking around the property
Reservations are a must, especially for dinner and around holidays. It’s a really good restaurant specializing in pork chops. But the menu has a lot of great options.

A Step Back in Time with Heartwarming Charm Visiting Patti’s 1880s Settlement felt like stepping into a beautifully preserved slice of history. From the moment we arrived, the homemade pies taunted us and thoughtful details created a cozy, nostalgic atmosphere that was both enchanting and comforting. Every corner of the restaurant is lovingly curated, making it feel more like a welcoming home than a dining establishment.
The food was just as delightful—hearty, flavorful, and clearly made with care. It’s the kind of place where you can taste tradition in every bite. The staff were warm and attentive, adding to the overall feeling of being part of something special.
Whether you’re there for a meal, a stroll through the shops , or just to soak in the ambiance, Patti’s is a must-visit destination that captures the spirit of a bygone era with grace and charm. Truly a gem!

We got to eat in the trophy room at Patti’s and enjoy a fabulous meal. The staff, Mathew and Doug work in tandem to care for the patrons in the Trophy Room. They had a smile and were quick to refill drinks or answer questions about the menu. The food was fantastic from the flower pot roll to the stunning pie!!!

The food was delicious! Very generous servings so had plenty to take home after eating our fill. I especially liked the catfish. Server was very pleasant and prompt while being very busy. The entire place, inside and out, is very festive for the holidays.

My husband and I drove 2 hours for lunch at Patti’s. The food was absolutely AMAZING. We started off with the sampler appetizer. For our meals, my husband got the 2 inch pork chop and I got the Don’s Chicken, both with loaded mashed potatoes and baked apples. To finish, we had the Bill’s Boat Sinker pie. I have to say, the mozzarella sticks were the BEST I had ever had. The cheese pull had to be over a foot long! All the staff were extremely friendly. There’s so much to do there, besides just have lunch. We showed up a few hours before our reservation and walked the whole Settlement. We had a great day here and will definitely be returning with our kids!

While browsing through the gift shop, I decided to call in a to-go order of fried catfish, apples, and French fries. The meal comes with two sides and a flower pot bread with a side of strawberry butter. The fried catfish was okay. The strawberry butter is unique to add on top of the bread. It reminds me of a cross between brioche and a croissant. About a 20-minute wait. I’ve never been given a drink with the straw already unwrapped; maybe leave that to the customer to unwrap. That’s unsanitary to me. They accept walk-ins but I overheard being asked if the patrons had a reservation. Sweet tea wasn’t sweet nor cold. I enjoyed the little bit of nugget ice that was left. Didn’t order any pie, but it seems to be the star of an item. Total visit was about $46 which included a piece of fudge for the road.
