This place is OK and seems to be going down hill. Not sure what it is. But the quality of the food is not as good. Great ambiance and character. If you are local nice not to hit the traffic to hit other places that are better.

inexpensive and excellent quality.we got there late but thoroughly enjoyed it even though we were the last to leave. They did not push which was great. New York strip was only $26 and delicious. My wife won’t let me order steak as I am never impressed, this one was not huge but excellent quality and perfectly prepared. Shrimp with squid in pasta and curry was very good as well.Good quality good value, good service. an easy place to come back to.

Went here with my wife on a dinner date and it was fantastic. The service was amazing, attentive, and very helpful and never made us feel rushed. The food was mostly house made and delicious. I highly recommend this place for any Italian food cravings for dinner. Plenty of street parking.

Service was excellent but the dishes were pretty underwhelming on the whole. For a celebrations it’s a good atmosphere but again the food wasn’t anything for us to write home about.

They have a cool outdoor patio with plenty of heat when it’s cold and fun little lights strung everywhere. I had the Truffle Ravioli and it wasn’t bad. A little bland, actually, other than the truffles. They weren’t shy about the use of truffles (that’s awesome!) but they skimped on flavor otherwise so it was a bit ehh. I’d go back for a second visit for sure though.

The ambiance inside is very nice and they also have a cool patio. They offer bread before your meal with olive oil and balsamic which is very good. I ordered the Rigatoni Norma (With eggplant and parmigiano) and there were very tasty. I recommend this place.

Simple rustic ambiance with great food. The sole piccata is one of the best I’ve ever had. The lemon and caper sauce hit a perfect balance . The tagliata con arugula was tender and perfectly grilled. The spaghetti pescatore was better than most Italian restaurants. The prosciutto and rucola pizza needed some parmesano to jazz it up. Overall, it was a good dining experience.

Briganti is a consistent and tasty Italian stand by in South Pasadena. Their pasta tastes fresh, and the service is always very warm. I like getting the chicken with balsamic, but their bolognese sauce is also very good. I know I can always have a quality meal here!
