This crap hole should be shut down. Every time I have gone here some creeper has made me feel uncomfortable. However it does not top what recently went on down there. My close friend who has hosted an open mic there (for years!!!) was brutally attacked this week. Two women were harassing the musicians and spewing all kinds of crap towards my friend. One of these girls was a past bartender who was recently fired for yes you guessed it fighting. So the idea that she was even welcomed to enter back into the establishment is ridiculous. She returned a few days later with a friend and an agenda to cause trouble. After harassing the musicians for not playing a song they requested (because they didn’t know it) my friend made a comment that maybe Tuesdays are not a good night for you to come. Meaning, that if they came on other nights they can play and hear whatever music they chose. They left and returned five minutes later and jumped her. She received two black eyes, half her hair was ripped out and these animals kicked her in the head all the way down to her knees, threw her to ground multiple times. Not to mention the emotional trauma and now ER bills. ONE (just one) gentleman came in to defend her but did not want to punch a woman (if you can call them that) and got beaten himself, his glasses broken, one tried to push her thumbs into his eye sockets (remember he is refusing to strike them). This is the kicker as they are both being beaten in fetal and turtle positions on the ground the gentleman is screaming call 911! AND NOBODY DID!!!!! No patron nor staff. Shame on this establishment. What a joke. I hope that they do something to take accountability for what what was allowed to transpire that night. Also others in the bar (not sure if they are regulars or not) did NOTHING to help to stop this.

For about 2 years now I have been searching for somewhere to unwind after work. Tonight I finally found what I was looking for. A friend told me to check out Mr. Lucky’s. It didnt take long to realize this was the place i was looking for. The staff were all friendly and efficient. The bartender Rob particularly stood out. Along with their full menu of food and beverages they also had billiards and pin ball.

DJ TOP plays live every Friday and Saturday as of this update. Karaoke too!
The atmosphere has gotten better since then and more people are coming here to hang out.
This place has a nice atmosphere and vibe. It’s a good size, not too big and not too small. They have a few pinball machines and arcade games along with a pool table.
It’s also conveniently located 50 feet from a 7-11! That’s always a good thing.
There aren’t really parking spaces so as long as everyone parks normally and is considerate it hasn’t been an issue from the few times I’ve been there. Eventually you may have to park on the side street right behind it if it gets really packed but that is totally fine, it’s so close.

Great place, great people! They have a DJ and karaoke every Friday and Saturday night from 10pm until 2am. The show is very energetic with alot of very good singers returning each week. the bartenders are awesome, and they serve tasty bar food late night! Doesn’t get much better if you’re local, it’s definitely work checking out and taking an uber home!

So this bar has been around 30 plus years, and it had a rough reputation. However, growing up locally, I had always wanted to try it.
Guys, I was pleasantly surprised. Its definitely a dive- don’t expect fancy cocktails- but for beer, shots, and simple drinks, this place is great. Don’t go to a chain joint, come here.
We went on a Friday night, and it was a mix of 20 somethings-60 somethings. Everyone was kind, and the bartenders Terri and Kristy were amazing.
You won’t regret coming to this neighborhood dive for a beer!
