I’m resoundingly glad we stopped in because I have a new fave margarita dive because that flight was something special. They had many flavors to choose from as well.
My companions and I are Mexican foodies, and we all give it the The steak was tender, not chewy at all with generous portions. Grilled chicken was well-seasoned too.
The service was friendly and quick with the same ample seating as when it was MiPatio. Actually, nothing on the inside changed. The menu is pretty standard with a couple of twists.
I have to give a shoutout to Ellie and chiro for there great customer service and care with my gluten allergy.
Even though this restaurant doesn’t have much of gluten free because the have only one frier for everything they still took care of me. Maybe one day they will get another frier so I can have there chips and salsa or anything fried here.
Now to the experience or energy of this restaurant. From the time I walked up to see all outdoor seating with a running waterfalls I knew this place would be special. I had a nice chat with two long time friends and born locals having a great meal by the waterfalls there favorite spot. The humidity and heat was to much for this north guy so i chose the indoor seating.
I had a great experience laughing abd joking with Ellie who is a hoot! I loved all the decorations of the Day of the Dead everywhere. The also have a great open bar in the far left side of the restaurant. I couldn’t help but take pics of several of the art work.
The whole atmosphere is geared towards family and you can tell. Everyone made you feel like family.
I chose my staple of cheese Enchiladas with rice and beans. The cheese Enchiladas had lots of lettuce toppings , guacamole etc. Not the typical Enchiladas with red sauce. The rice was the typical Mexican flavor rice but I personally like it with potatoes and veggies.
Overall I was pleased with the meal.
Would I come back yes.
Would I recommend? Yes
We will definitely be back! Tacos are bomb and so are the authentic Mexican dishes. Thanks
