I’ve gone to the one in Medford a million times and it has always been great. Everyone with me said this one didn’t seem the same. Not only that but there was a long hair in one of my empanadas which stopped everyone. Service was nice and quick but that was just absolutely disgusting, sorry but that completely ruins it.

Stopped in to try. Ordered two meals. At first, we weren’t sure it would be enough food. The empanadas looked small. When we got home we realized they were nicely filled and very tasty. The sides were out of control and very filling. Well worth the money for a quick meal. Great mix of options and flavors. Even the beef Chipotle was spicy and gave good heat without being too wimpy or over the top. We’ll definitely be back and look forward to the new locations opening closer to home.

Family owned, the empanadas I ordered from Island Empanada were absolutely divine. The service was quick and the people were more than friendly. Their selection was large and I could tell that every empanada was prepared on-premise. The quality of the meat was superb. I go here every so often when my stomach desires something delectable. Believe me when I tell you that you will be satisfied.
