My wife and I are new to Edenton and was invited by a new friend to have breakfast at the Clubhouse. We are from a small town so we did not have expectations of big city attitudes. When we met the older man working at the security gate we quickly decided this was not the place for us. We drove through the gate turned our vehicle around and promptly left never to return. The old security guard was terrible. He asked who we were there to see and before we could even fully explain he said that our friend must not be much of a friend if we didn’t know their last name. He then threw a fit because we didnt know our new NC license plate number even after explaining that we received the plate that day. He was angry because he had to walk to the back of the car to get the plate number. We have been in Edenton for about a month now and everyone we have met have been awesome with one exception being that security guard. I strongly suggest the Clubhouse take a hard look at who greets their guest at the gate. I think they would soon realize its time to retire the old guard dog.

We had our son’s wedding rehearsal dinner at the Albemarle Plantation Clubhouse last night, everything was perfect. We’ve eaten at the clubhouse many times but last night’s meal was the best we’ve had there. The food was cooked perfectly, the service was attentive and quick. I highly recommend the Albemarle Plantation clubhouse as an event venue.

We had an amazing apertivo on the terrace last night; the Dr. Pepper steak tips and fried onions, the bang-bang shrimp, the brussel sprouts, and the pretzels and beer cheese all were amazing!!! The other night we had the dagwood with aioli and the tri tip sandwich with chips and it was phenomenal take out. Highly recommend and to top it off this is all in a gorgeous location.

Nice restaurant, a good selection on the menu, reasonable prices with a view of Albemarle sound that cannot be beat. Offering typical North Carolina Coastal Cuisine prepared by a professionally trained chef. Reservations are generally preferred, but not required. The restaurant has a relatively large selection of various wines and beverages plus access to a full Liquor Bar. A great place to stop after 18 holes on the Links golf course.

Great food, tough course. Lots of blind landing areas and blind par threes. Bring plenty of balls unless you have played this one before or are an A player. I usually never run out, but I lost a dozen pro v 1s by the 12 hole and came on in. Plan ahead and do some research.

I went to the clubhouse for my birthday and ordered the NY strip streak, and it was one of the best steaks I have ever had. It was perfectly cooked, amazingly seasoned, and tender. What added to the nice ambiance that night was the new manager who came over and talked to us. She was pleasant, interested, and professional.

First time there and my wife and I had the best dining experience, possibly ever . The servers, bartenders and the General Manager were hospitable and knowledgeable about the offerings of this establishment.
