Review is the re-opening of a local favorite spot. Renamed The Starlight it carries forward on the original Little Dipper idea.
The service and food is a solid excellent for “diner” style service. Nothing spectacular but a fine addition to a location the locals and through traffic will appreciate.
The owner is very interested in customer feedback so if you have a question or issue let them know! (And something other bad reviewers need to consider before posting!)
I had breakfast of Eggs Benedict with crispy bacon? Home Fries and coffee with a lemon muffin afterwards. All good serviceable food with no surprises.
Tableware is medium weight with the now popular square plating. Heavy mugs. Cold beverage is plastic.
Menu is medium large with many options.
Service is friendly but new with menu chasing until they have time to settle in.
Certainly a plus to have this iconic place reopen with fresh insight for locals and through traffic to enjoy.

My husband and I ordered take-out meals tonight. This was the first time we have tried the Starlight Restaurant. The person that took our order by phone was very friendly and efficient. We ordered roast beef and filling dinners. Dinners were ready within 15-20 minutes, friendly person waited on my husband when he picked up order at restaurant. Food portions were very generous and the quality of food was very good. Thank you for such a nice meal, and we will definitely come back again!

DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME! FOOD WAS HORRIBLE, WAIT STAFF WAS UNKNOWLEDGEABLE AND INCOMPETENT. OWNER IS RUDE. LEFT THE FOOD BEHIND. WAFFLE WAS COLD, RUBBERY, AND TASTED BURNT. OUR FOOD DIDN’T COME OUT TOGETHER DESPITE .NOT BEING BUSY.

We have only gotten orders to go. The French fries were cold and limp. There were a bunch of tiny pieces that were just the skin. We had turkey club sandwiches and some of the turkey looked bad. Not impressed.
