I was hesitant to try this place, i thought it was going to be just a low end crappy burger place attached to a gas station. its actually a great burger joint with a gas station attached to it 😉 only complaint is that my fries were a little cold, burger was delicious, fries were seasoned well. i would 100% come back. fantastic smash burger.

This is the best addition to Blowing Rock in a long time! Relaxed, bygone era comfort food place to eat. Hot dogs with sides were delicious and reasonably priced. The guys running the place were very friendly and efficient. I’m sure this place will be a hit!

Oh my goodness sooo good. Burgers had a nice char to them the meat was great. I had Carolina style the chili and slaw were on point The chicken tender were perfectly crispy . I wish the buns were sesame seeds but it’s not a biggie. The ower so nice checking to make sure things were good and that people there were good and also the to go orders were completely quickly and accurate!! Can’t wait to go back!!

I was in the area for business and needed to get some gas. I was looking for a place to eat, but wasn’t interested in gas station food. We’ll, that was until someone opened the door of the “station” and I caught a waft of the food inside. That was enough for me. I met the owner, Aaron and I asked he and the woman at the counter what they recommend. They suggested the OG / OKC smash burger and fries. The burger was fantastic.
I’m hoping to find myself in Blowing Rock again, and if I do, I will be stopping by Bubba’s Gas & Grill again.

As a guy who works in Blowing Rock most days, this place is a much needed addition. Being able to get great food quickly during a busy workday is very rare in BR. Love it!

It was $90 for 4 people. Granted we got 2 extra hot dogs to try. The burger my wife got was burnt. The bun was burnt and the burger was burnt. We asked for Bubbas sauce on the side and didn’t get it. The chicken salad sandwich my mom got was the runniest chicken salad I’ve ever seen. The hot dogs were cooked fine but they were overloaded with condiments that made them soggy by the time we got home (a 5 minute drive). The Reuben I got was pretty good, and the fries we got as sides were solid.
