I enjoy coming here any time I am visiting the area. They are only open two days a week as of when I am writing this, so be prepared to come here only on Saturday or Sunday. The fish here is excellent, including the scallops and the shrimp too. Love the wiener schnitzel here too, and the fried chicken is nice and crispy! Beware that they only take cash or check here, so don’t bring a credit card.

Just love this place. Brian makes you feel welcome and makes a good drink. The food was simple and prepared right. Sure the place is a bit dated but that’s what makes the atmosphere. Stop in and treat yourself to a good meal.

A classic local supper club, this hidden gem is worth the scenic drive through the woods. Small, quaint and charming, this is the epitome of friendly hospitality and great food in central Wisconsin. Dinners come with soup or tomato juice (the same as every restaurant my parents took us to in the 1960’s!), a small, fresh salad bar, and a generously portioned entree. The Pan Fried Walleye was perfectly prepared and served with drawn butter and tartar sauce. The hash browns were also perfect, crisp bits with fluffy potato shreds. We ended our meal by sharing a Pink Monkey (Pink Squirrel), which also took me back to days gone by, when my parents would let us have a small taste of their dessert drink, while we had ice cream. The staff is wonderfully friendly and helpful, and they have a full bar and a bartender who makes classic Old Fashioned cocktails.

The fish was really good, the resteraunt has a traditional German vibe. Older crowd which I enjoy. Great service, we really enjoyed our time here.

If you’re looking for a good supper club with good food this is the place. The ambiance is a bit lacking – but totally has held on to the stereotypical motif you’d imagine when dining out back in the 70’s and 80’s. Staff is very friendly and as a local we love going here. We attend a large-group meeting and everyone is always very full when we leave! It’s a bit in the middle of “nowhere” but that’s all part of the fun for this place.

Nice and clean older supper club. Small but decent salad bar. Staff were very friendly. Portion sizes we’re giant. All these pros, the food really wasn’t great. It wasn’t bad, but it was all very bland.

Warning: they do not take cards. If you are looking for a supper club that encompasses the tradition while not feeling run down or dirty, this is the place for you. The bar and dining room appear to be right out of 1972 but it is in immaculate shape. Food and service were great, will be back.

The food was very bland. No seasoning in the chowder nor on my steak also ordered a piece of fried cod fish and it was ok I guess, again pretty sad in the flavor department. A friend had the walleye and said it was good. My girlfriend had the rouladen and baked potato and said that was nice. I tried it and I would agree! The salad bar was stellar! The service was fast, very friendly, and very informative. Another unfortunate part of the night is they do NOT have an ATM and do NOT accept card. So expect to pay with cash or check only. The decor was outdated and there was a funky odor in the dining room. I couldn’t describe it, it was honestly just off putting. I’m giving this place 3 stars becuase we ate here with our grandparents as kids and I remember the good always being good so maybe just an off night I don’t know for certain. I wanted to like this dining experience and had high expectations and was a bit let down unfortunately.

It is a nice place to eat. They are short on staff so you may need to wait to be seated and the service isn’t as fast as it used to be prepandrmic. The old fashion s are definetly staples that make that added wait time more pleasant. Just don’t overdue it. Overall a good meal!
