Judy’s Kitchen is a must visit! The food is incredible. Definitely get the dumplings. The menu has options for everyone and everything I tried was delicious. The building and design is exciting. Service was very good and I got to meet Judy. Her berry pancake beer is mind boggling. It’s a fruity and slightly sour berry ale that finishes tasting exactly like pancakes. I drove two hours for lunch and it was worth every mile, I’ll be back to try more from the menu.

Had the pleasure of visiting Judy’s Kitchen and her other establishment, Judy Family Cafe. I’m no average customer; I traveled a LOONG way to try this new internet sensation. I left the warmth of Florida just to give this a try, and I’m glad I did; the gamble paid off. Flew to Chicago, then took the 2.5-hour train ride to Galesburg. I couldn’t decide, so I had the Spicy Cumin Lamb and the Eggplant in Garlic Sauce, perfect spice on both; however, the Lamb was the star if you liked things a little more spicy. However, the eggplant was also amazing. I had the pleasure of meeting Judy herself, a lovely person who was extremely personable, maybe a little bit more reserved and unlike the person in the viral videos, but a total treasure all the same. She took the time to pose with me in a selfie. The bartender, Chris, is also a valuable asset to the restaurant; he’s very knowledgeable about beverages, including wines as well, and provides excellent customer service. If in the area or you just want to make a special trip, I recommend either highly. Thanks.

Well, driving from Peoria to get pancakes to find out they released the “Chinese/ American” menu advertising before the restaurant has opened that section was irritating. We had sat down, got soft drinks already, remember that the weather is 7 with a windchill of below zero, so we just stayed and warmed up. Our party had looked on Google to see the menu which translates to American food and a little confusing to not see anything offered but Asian. We ordered, the food was good, portions were medium sized, smaller than most Asian places, but this is an upscale place. Ambiance was high-tech with attention to detail and a 50s Diner twist. This does have a fully stocked bar, upper balcony seating around the perimeter and open floor plan. Would I return, yes we would, but not till they add the American food. Bill for 3 with simple entrees and 2 drinks $90 without tip.

Hands down the best Chinese food for hundreds of miles— perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. I cannot wait to eat my way through her menu… Galesburg is lucky to have Judy and I’m so happy to see our community support her! We arrived early (5pm) and were seated immediately. When we lefts at around 6pm (on a Friday) there was a line outside, but don’t let a line dissuade you from eating at Judy’s, it’ll be worth the wait!! I wish Judy and her staff all the success in the world!

Judy’s Kitchen is a fabulous addition to the local dining scene. If you’re used to the usual bland, homogenized version of Chinese food found at most Chinese buffet restaurants, you really need to check out Judy’s. This is authentic cuisine, fresh and bursting with flavor. Judy has her kitchen and staff on point; service is excellent. Bartender Chris is a local legend; be sure to check out his talents behind the bar. Prices are quite reasonable, and the quality is top shelf. Don’t sleep on this place!

The Beef Hot Pot was absolutely amazing. The spice level was perfectly balanced—just enough heat to make every bite exciting without overwhelming the flavors. The beef was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection. A truly delicious and satisfying dish from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Judy has brought a definite quality choice of food to Galesburg. We’ve been 3 times now and have never been disappointed. From the appetizers, main course and the drinks are all top notch. Chinese food and it’s best and no, no buffet just made to order food.

We decided to try the Asian food at Judy’s Kitchen at noon on Sunday. We enjoyed the experience. The waiter was courteous and prompt. We had appetizers, egg rolls and pot stickers. I had a spicer dish while my wife and her sister stayed with the milder choices. I did sample their dishes. I would say all the food was very good.

Coming in from Chicago, this wasn’t impressive Chinese food, but it’s a good vibe and good service. There’s a huge gorilla couch which is hilarious and great for pics. We also go to meet Judy herself here which was amazing!

Our first try at Judy’s kitchen & it was fantastic. Egg rolls, 3 orders of sesame chicken, some chicken fried rice & beef bone ramen. Absolutely delicious. One thing I wanna say about the sesame chicken is they were nice big chunks of chicken. Some places you get a whole lot of breading and a little bit of chicken. The music & atmosphere was very chill & our waiter was great. This will be a new favorite. Thank you bringing it to Galesburg.
